Talent-wise, yes. But a QB is soooooooo much more to a team that just a talent. I look at Jameis and a see a more polished Vince Young. But like Johnny and Young and Cam and Vick, I don't see a guy who is a team-first, bust my ass to learn the playbook, watch film until I pass out kinda guy. All their lives these guys have gotten by on their God-given ability, and when they get to the NFL they eventually realize that it takes so much more than that. Even Vick, who lit the league up at first, realized that in order to win at the highest level he had to put more film study in (by then it was too late...I guess you can't teach a dog new tricks).
Maybe Jameis will work hard. I agree with you that he is the most NFL-ready. But man, I just don't trust him to stay out of trouble and to be a true leader. Brady, Wilson, Manning, Brees, Rodgers...those guys not only have the talent but they have the respect of their teammates, and you never hear about them in trouble off-the-field. There's a reason they win Super Bowls and more talented guys like Vince Young are out of the league.
