Wondering what companies for cable and internet you all go with? In Vegas we have Cox and century link for internet. And Cox, century and direct tv for tv service. wondering what a good deal would be price wise.

Verizon Fios... Forget which package but we pay 115ish for a bundle and get just about everything but the HBO/Cinemax channels... We like it much more than Charter or Direct TV. Internet is fast enough for sure.

Comcast cable and internet for 155 per month. The customer service sucks, but the actual service is reliable. I had Direct TV for about 3 months once and it seemed like every other day service was interrupted for some reason.

I miss Direct TV from when I lived in Springfield, MO. Had Comcast for last 14 months, Internet claims to be fast but when two people were connected, it was horrible. Had the 25 MB... just don't if you can find the same. I pay about $65 a month for data.

Get dirctv from Costco. $65 a month and you get Sunday ticket for a year plus $100 cash card.

IMHO Directv is the only way to go for television. Picture quality, superior interface and navigation, and most importantly - great customer service.

My bill is about $90 as I have Genie HD with 3 TVs and the choice package.

For internet, I reluctantly use Time Warner Cable and my bill is about $60 per month for 20Mbs.

In Canuckia I use Satellite for my TV, wish I could get DirecTV. My internet package is 30down 10up. $160 all in. I do my own phone for less than $8 a month with all kinds of options you have to pay out the ass for with the big boys.

UUUUUUGGGHHHHH......

We have Time Warner here in WNY. It is the worst. For my tv and internet it's $170 (w/ premium channels) and works like crap. Horrid customer service as well.

If I could consistently get all sporting events via the internet, I wouldn't even get cable. Once internet tv got popular, companies like TW started putting ESPN in their premium package. Bunch of nazis...

$120/mo for FiOS incl. every channel (plus multi-room DVR), FDV, 30/30 internet. It's discounted ~$75 for me since I work for VZW.

I have had Comcast for 2 years now for internet and cable. My original promotion was 100 for internet and cable bundle. Plus the extra charges for HD and all the boxes I pay $135 a month. Like clockwork, once my first year was up, they jacked my price up to 160 because my so called "promotion was over" So naturally I just threatened I was cancelling if they didn't lower back down to where it was. They then tell me some bull crap about how they cant do it, I tell them again that ok im cancelling now and then the cave and lower my price. Did the same exact thing just a few month ago when year 2 was over. In all honesty I absolute hate comacst, but their product is incredible good. My internet is fast, I have a bunch or premium channels for a decent price, and best of all I never have any problems with service interuptions. Most of my friends have AT&T Uverse and they pay $60 less than me, but they constantly have problems with their cable services. Like, ALL THE TIME!!! So I guess for now Im sticking with Comcast.

NWO. Interestingly enough we are on a "ridge" of service. NWO has three "land based" service providers. Buckeye Cable, Time Warner, and ATT Uverse.

Also, you can get DirectTV and the other one. Too many big trees for satellite. Also, these snow storms and big rains used to screw up reception.

I have had all three, and I have friends that work for all three. All three have packages with various speed internet, phone over IP, and cable services. Fastest internet and best operation, ATT. Most effed up billing system ATT. Cheapest ATT.

I just beat them up yesterday because one of my last seven bills was correct. Now I pay 145 plus tax for three receivers, 20-something internet, land line phone, with unlimited long distance, and their 350+ package, which is half the premium movie channels. I can't remember whether I have the showtime or hbo half.

Interestingly enough, the only really bad thing about the service is Netflicks runs like crap. It runs much better on anyone else who doesn't have ATT Service. I have checked swapping out routers, changing config settings, etc. Anyone with the IQ, please feel free to give it a whack; drop me a line. Thanks!

HAve had directv for 15 years and love it. Rarely see a price increase. We pay $85 a month for all the channels we care about. Don't care about HBO/Cinemax, etc. but it would be about $120 with those.

Internet is only really one option for us- TDS. It's pretty good and pay 35.00/mo for hi-speed cable..

Time Warner just lowered their internet pricing around here. $35/month gets 15MB/1MB service. DirecTV for TV and loving it. Same pricing nationwide.

I used to do Clearwire for internet bundled with home phone for about $80/month. The service sucked, slow and sporadic, half the time the phone didn't work. But it was a stop gap until we moved.

We have Comcast internet/cable as well. We pay right around 100. Verizon isn't n our area dish network sucks. Direct tv is the only other choice.

Like BobD said Comcast customer service is a joke.

I had DirecTV and AT&T for cable and internet and was paying $175 with no premium channels. Every time it rained the signal from DirecTV gets lost.

I threatened both and they didn't want to budge, so I switched to Comcast. Once I called to tell them to shut off the service they were ready to discount. Too late! I got a $200 gift card with high speed internet and HBO for $120. This includes one DVR and two other receivers. Reliability and speed on the internet have been fine. Customer service is a little bit of a pain, but once you learn how to work the system it's not bad.

$111 a month for internet and cable from Comcast, but Comcast is awful. Definitely not using them when I rent a different house next year.

Anyone use Sling TV or anything like it. I'm thinking about ditching cable soon. We are at about $180 a month including Internet. Live sports is mainly what I don't want to lose.

I use TWC for Internet ($60ish a month), Dish Network for TV ($80ish a month for two TVs /w DVR and all channels but Cinnemax\HBO), and I use Ting for cell (Variable price, pay for only what you use each month. Bill ranges from $10 a month for wife and I to $80...mostly because I use my cell for work too and rack up a shit ton of minutes on pointless conference calls). I've had no issues with Dish Network, they've had awesome service and I rarely have any issues. They tend to be slightly cheaper than DirectTV too, although no NFL Sunday Ticket.

I have ATT UVerse with 3 cable boxes. I have all the channels currently for a few more months until Free HBO runs out. My internet is the Max Turbo which is 24 mbps. I pay 150 a month for all of this combined. I don't think it's a terrible deal considering I have whole home DVR etc. With a wireless box and stuff like that.

How much you'll save depends on what your options are for internet. In many cases with a company like Comcast, you end up saving very little if your only option is to stick with them for your internet service.

I'm at $155 in year two of my contract. Up to $231 next year. That's 50 MBPS internet, home phone, and cable with HBO and Starz, no Showtime or Cinemax.

Cell phone is $80 a month for my wife and I. We paid cash for our phones so we own them outright.

Well fuck, that's who I have. Internet and 2 HDTV boxes. 1 is wireless. I have I believe the u300 package and it's about $180 a month. Sling TV covers sports and kids shows for $20 a month plus little $5 packages if need be. I just figured I could save a good $75 a month but I want to ensure its quality and how anyone has liked it or a similar service.

Or contract just ended and it went from 150 to 180. And I'm not happy with the Internet speed. Sports, the Disney Channel, and channels like Food Network/HGTV/A&E are all that's watched in the house. And I can steam any of that with the exception of live sports.

Just signed with Charter for $39 internet only. 100 MBPS service is what they claim, i'm guessing that's maximum speed. So minimum speeds can still be in the .5 mbps range.

Yes it's a maximum speed, but hardwired your speeds should never drop that low. They should pretty constant around the advertised speed. That's an awesome price BTW.

Time Warner for cable/internet/phone for $125/month. No premium channels, 40 mbps internet. Don't use the phone, use Ooma for that ($4/month). This was a package promotion.

Can't use the satellite services unless I cut some trees.
