Expecting ESB to develop an NFL compete level is more absurd than saying he doesn’t have it now.

That doesn't change the fact that your comment about someone failing in the NFL because they weren't a star at the collegiate level is completely wrong.

So once again, ESB hasn’t demonstrated the compete level at the FBS level to give comfort that he will compete at the level necessary to be productive in a much tougher nfl environment

First -very surprised not in top 25 of way to early rankings for next year ( would seem the media thinks this year was a fluke ) and maybe they are correct considering todays talent level and the minor league franchises. Second -every time during these playoffs when the media talks about the sec schools and Clemson all they keep pounding on is the NFL and doing something for their families with the $$$$ they will make. Does anyone care about education anymore and that is the specific reason why I say Saban has been the worst thing to happen to college football in an longtime. Those guys on espn just come right out and say that is why these schools are prospering with recruits. Couple that with schools that let anyone in to play and you have a broken system-I think it stinks. You can almost already predict next years playoff 4-Ala/Ga/Clemson/Ohio State/Auburn. The whole system needs blown up or start a conference of schools of academic responsibilities that would have a seat at the table if they go thru undefeated. When you have schools like Notre Dame/southern cal/Miami/Texas/Stanford/Michigan/UCLA/Wisconsin/Michigan State etc that by the eye ball test have no shot at making the playoff something is broken.

This isn’t accurate. I believe Stepherson is the only one not enrolled. Holmes has a chance to make it back on the team, provided his spring semester goes well. Key word here is chance. There’s been no guarantees made he’ll be allowed back on the team.

What I read said "team." But I believe the university (i.e. Res Life) can suspend students from extracurricular activities, so not clear if it was Kelly's call or theirs.
