Home opener against Nebraska for Colorado is the equivalent of ND opening against USC after not playing them for a decade.
I would agree on the secondary market. But this is buying direct from their ticket office. The cheapest ticket I could find against USC is 225 per ticket and the most expensive was 625.

Other games are staggering too. Take a look.

I just did my lottery (after five hours of tech difficulties). I was unable to see any grid of sections/pricing for various games which was quite annoying - usually helpful to review that pre-pick. Also not clear on any ticket limits - I was able to buy 4 OSU which was surprising, usually restricted to 2 tickets for big games but explains why the selection was so bad. Looks like $150 endzone upper and $170 endzone lower were the lowest price which IMO isn't horrible for game like that. Quickly getting to $250 in the corners and not sure what any decent seats cost since they were gone.

Bought 4 NCST which will end up being highway robbery as usual. Don't even give a section so a complete shot in the dark on where you sit. Every other team allocates the worst seats and jacks up the face value to opposition. They are a good football environment and think they are hot shit for beating us in the hurricane last time so tickets won't be as easy as Duke/Wake/UNC. $98 per

Has the single game ticket release date been set yet? I read that it was sometime in June.

Usually it’s the end of July or beginning of August. Unfortunately, the two games that’ll be worth a damn will already be sold out by then.

I’m heading Jordan Brand for new contract not sure how legit
Strange, ISD made it sound like Jordan wasn't even on the table.

I really think Nike or Jordan is the way to go. UA is just not working out and their stock keeps plummeting, there's just no excitement around the brand and it's a harder sell.

ND may want to be seen as the flagship school for whatever brand they choose, but it doesn't do you much good being the flagship of a failing brand.

Laughing at the possibility of ND’s infinite amount blue hairs rocking Jordan apparel
Why? The blue hairs wore Nike “Jordan” long before UA ever hit the sports apparel market.

From what I've heard, OSU sold out in the alumni lottery and there were limited tickets remaining for USC, so I wouldn't count on those two games for the mid-June public sale. No shockers, there.

It's a throw away line in a Sampson article about Swarbrick's legacy BUT I think it's based on real sentiment within the program:

Some were profits and loss, including the Under Armour apparel deal that never quite clicked.

It seems to be an indication that Notre Dame isn't entirely happy with the partnership and is going to move on.

I doubt Sampson "knows" if a change is about to be made.
I also believe, if he did know, he would not tip his hat - has this could effect market and university $

I think it's just him speculating - using "complaints " (shoes) from athletes about how it's been less than great.

This isn't exactly a hot take, but if ND keeps UA, it would be absolute malpractice considering all the athlete complaints about the shoes. Not to mention how UAs market share and popularity has cratered. It's almost an embarrassing brand at this point.

I kinda hate Nike (I live in Eugene) but sign me up for Jordan or Nike alone. It feels like the only worthwhile union at this point.

The apparel / uniform deal while allowing the athletes to wear and/or obtain a different brand of shoes is certainly interesting. I've heard that the UA basketball shoes are much worse than their football cleats.

I remember in high school, our coaches mandated that we wear the provided Reebok cleats. Even while keeping the bench warm, I couldn't stand those things. My Nike practice cleats were much better to my feet, more comfortable, stable, and durable.

off topic from new hire, but regarding the shamrock pass this year... sounds like Ohio State won't be included as part of the package.
All tickets to that game are sold out minus a few season tickets.

Now trying to convince wife to over pay for season tickets ($750 donation a ticket for upper endzone is dumb)
