He's a dick. I went to college with him.

Just curious?
You went to college with him, what, 30 years ago?
You don’t think people grow up or change from 18 to 48?
He’s never come across to me the past 15 years as a dick?

College no money, now, good money. Despite what people say, money itself doesn't make me happy but it allows me to do more things that make me happy.

He got a huge payday to leave, though.
His base pay was $650k in 2023 & $675k in 2024 ($625k in 2022).
If released without cause, he gets 90% of his base salary of the remaining years of his 3 year contract.
So LSU paid him just under $1.2 million to leave.
Like players told to enter the portal, I doubt he was officially fired. He was slated for an off the field role this year and I am sure he saw the writing on the wall. I bet he didn't leave for free, but I am willing to wager he didn't get nearly that much out the door either.

Most people yes, but not him. He was an arrogant cock. He's never been humbled. Always gets jobs because of his dad. If you knew him you'd invite him to a session at the Irsay Y.

Alabama at 3 without a legitimate QB. Makes sense and I'm putting a lot of stock in these rankings.

That’s crazy the amount of money they have paid out for coaches that are no longer there.
It’s crazy that anyone would give a three-year guaranteed deal to a (mediocre) special teams coach. Even if he is an FOB.

Maybe a little, but I bet he still has the asshole gene. Besides, his dad is the King of assholes and you think he didn't notice his dad as he grew up?

Does anyone have the ticket prices for single game tickets for last year? I just checked it for this year and I feel like the prices took a steep jump up, but I can't find last year's to check if I'm just imagining things.

There are only two tiers this year with no "cheap games" (BC and UNLV last year) and the OSU and USC games are more expensive than the Clemson game was last season.Screenshot_20230522-093102.png

So MTSUA&M or whatever TF that D2 equivalent on the schedule isn't even a "cheap" game?

I am OK with fewer tiers but two tiers is absurd - they are going to have empty upper endzones for a few games and the expensive side of where ever they draw that line gonna get sparse too. I can't imagine that is optimizing.

2023 games and prices are attached for comparison. The only likely candidate "cheap game" based on precedent (which from my observation has accounted for quality/cache of opponent and time of season) would be Wake. Tickets for TSU, CMU, Pitt, and Wake are all the same price as tickets for the Marshall and Stanford games last season except the cheapest tickets in the upper end zones are $5 cheaper than last year. It also appears they flipped the pricing for upper prime and lower side zones, but otherwise same price points overall.Screenshot_20230522-104317.png

Which sections are generally best for watching the game?
In my experience, I find the best price/view intersection is to find seats in the lower part of the upper deck between the 10 yard lines.

Due to life constraints I can't really plan my trips in advance so I'm always working off the secondary market.

Any of the shades of blue are pretty awesome. I like being near the student section because you get a little more lively of an atmosphere. Being in 112, 113, 12, or 13 you risk being surrounded by opposing fans or parallel to them.

My personal favorites that won't break the bank are 106-108, as you'll get a great vantage point of TD Jesus, the Basilica, and the Golden Dome. Agreed with ND23 that 130-134 are also ideal since you'll be sitting directly above the student section.

Obviously, the best seats in the house are between the 20 yard lines, but man are they priced at a premium.

Stating the obvious, if you're capable, sitting between the 20 yard lines is an incredible experience, but it'll cost you a pretty penny.

You'll still have a great view of Hesburgh Library but your back will be to the other buildings, if that matters to you at all.

There are no bad seats...unless you're stuck in an endzone and all the action happens on the other side of the field. That happened in the 2013 Navy game.

Gold seats, playa.

And that includes the 2016 disaster. Not bad.
We are tied with Boise State. What has happened to Notre Dame football.:eek:o_O

At least we are above LSU and Michigan. LSU did win a championship in that time frame though.

USC should be embarrassed!

ND tickets look cheap compared to what Colorado is pushing. Ticket costs up to 700 right now for home opener against Nebraska.
