Yep this is basically what I was going to add haha: 28 game winning streak against the ACC regular season games, they must've decided to pivot strategies.

I guess they're thinking 2/3 of Carr, Lambert & Scott. I think Lambert is the only 5* out of those.

I gonna predict Cam Williams is a 5* after he tears it up on the 7v7 circuit this year and stays in the Top 5 WR.

Besides that, I don't see where the 5*'s are coming at this time.

Why are night games bad? I think they're the most enjoyable and the crowd seems to be more into them than the afternoon games. Probably not a coincidence that the "down in front" crowd tend to stay at home for the night games (plus the full day of boozing, of course)

They think the night game atmosphere isn’t that great. They light show and smoke in the tunnel are boring since they only got that from Georgia. And that they play enough night games as it is.

I agree with them on NBC. The network is weak and you can’t heard crowd noise that well and the broadcaster are not good. Which is very true.

I've been saying this about NBC forever. Their product SUCKS for college football. The game sounds like it's being played in a library because they refuse to mic the crowd and field up, the on air personalities are mediocre, and all the interest segments are cheesy and forced.

I tend to agree, it's been watered down quite a bit from a couple decades ago.

Maybe it's just the nostalgia in me as I didn't follow ND football as a kid until 2000, but I the old NBC intro and the voice of Tom Hammond is a vibe.



Also to your point about the crowd noise, they most certainly did not leave out the crowd noise back then. Watch/listen to this whole sequence, the 3rd down stuff by Brandon Hoyte followed the the epic Zibby punt return. Crowd was electric, and who could clearly hear it on TV.

Do they do the pregame brunch thing anymore? I used to do that every year.

Do they do the pregame brunch thing anymore? I used to do that every year.

I haven't seen anything for that in years. I went to that a couple of times myself.

I haven't even seen anything for field passes or locker room tours like they used to do. All I saw was "preferred seating" which I believe is the gold seats, otherwise it's all general admission.

Maybe that will change as we get closer but not sure why they would sell tickets now and not other packages.
