Both goals came off excellent passes from Messi. The first drew a man to him and was perfect for a simple touch that led to a goal. The cross on the second goal was mastery. The height of the ball, the spin and the trajectory out it right between the two English defenders and dropped it right onto his teammate's head.
The guy is simply the best we've ever seen when you combine talent, success and longevity. The guy is 39 and he's still unbelievably dangerous at the highest level in the world.
Was cheering for England, but credit where it's due. Messi and his Argentina squad were the better team most of the afternoon and refused to die in the critical moments.
