I love Katie Nolan and I'm excited to see her back on TV, but I wonder how her brand of comedy will go over with the people at ESPN.

PFT Commenter is legitimately the funniest Twitter account out there. The dude is a genius.

If they're giving Big Cat and PFT their own PMT show and don't put them on a short leash, that means Nolan probably has the greenlight to keep being herself with whatever she does.

Big Cat seems like the type of guy that would “mature” pretty easily in terms of giving in to ESPN. Look at PMT’s guest since beginning of August. Whole lot of ESPN employees....

Only thing that outranks Pres’s hate of Goodell and then ESPN, is his love of money. But actually he’s a super nice dude in real life. These aren’t dumb people either. Big Cat, Wisconsin grad, KFC, MBA from Fordham, Pres, Michigan guy, PFT, who knows lol.

They're the best aspect of Barstool sports. Guys who have transcended the "frat humor" thing and taken on their own personas that are very funny (though they do still tap into the frat humor thing from time-to-time).

Pres (Dave Portnoy) is the founder of Barstool, but he uses the website's main platform for homerish commentary too much for my taste. They write the dumbest "slam" articles on Lebron James (which usually aren't funny), and then you realize that Portnoy ordered one of the bloggers to do it, because he's a butthurt Boston Celtics fan.

He is a pretty good Twitter follow when he's not bashing Lebron, though. And his "One Bite, Everybody Knows the Rules" pizza reviews are amazing.

You should give the Pardon My Take podcast a chance if you're a podcast guy.

the thing with all these barstool dudes is that their humor works best on the original platform they succeeded at - twitter.

But when you put a mic or a camera in front of them then it just isn't as funny.
I love Pat McAfee's little punter specific video clips on twitter but i couldn't listen to the guy talk on a podcast for too long.

You've never heard of Pardon My Take???? Dude you've been missing out. My MWF commutes would suck without them.

Give it a listen. PFT is literally a genius (comedic and intelligently). Big Cat is funny as fuck. They literally made a show mocking everything ESPN does, ESPN sent them a cease and desist letter, and now ESPN wants them.

Some of their better interviews include Bill Walton, Brent Musberger, JJ Watt, and honestly their best one was Jim Harbaugh. Almost made Harbaugh likable.

Also, the negotiations had to be hilarious because PFT definitely was negotiating how many Hitler jokes he can make per episode.
