See also the "Bear" from GameDay (I forget his name) saying that Virginia is a good bet against Notre Dame to win outright. It's a good bet because it's paying 4 to 1, not because Virginia is more likely to win.

according to all conspiracy accounts we lost last year to get our young guns PT. So I'm actually in on this bet with the spread. GT is something not too far off.

Yes....that doesn't give her a pass. I'd much rather watch a more professional female anchor; honestly ESPN has better female anchors (more professional) but the blue hairs at ESPN got a thang for HS.

I'm not usually one to bitch about espn coverage but the abc halftime report just showed me like 15 plays from lsu vs. auburn and literally one play from GT vs ND... not even from multiple angles...

It was just "Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech - CJ Procise ran for a touchdown; Notre Dame wins"

I get that its just a halftime report and they only have so much time but damn...

EDIT: They just showed a few other games that only got one highlight. I'll accept that I'm a homer and I'm salty without much reason. Just wish the world would know how we owned GT today.

It's in ESPN's best interest to promote and see the SEC and see them do well, they are in a "partnership" with the SEC or basically they own 80% of it. NBC broadcasts ND Games, that is their competition in the industry. I don't blame ESPN for promoting the SEC, that is just good business. I blame the NCAA for allowing these arrangements, I think it really puts a media giant like ESPN (Disney) in a position to promote one conference over another.........and we wonder where the SEC Bias comes from.....

Kind of cool actually, I'm surprised. Most of the schools seem to be in fair weather states like the South and the West Coast, ND is the only one in the Rust Belt and they're #1, surprised tOSU wasn't in there.

To me this seems like intentional disrespect from ESPN. I have a hard time believing many people would take Taysom Hill (granted he is a good athlete, but still unproven and very middle-of-the-road numbers) over Malik, or that many would take James Conner (also a good player, very overused, injury bound to happen) over Folston.

Leaving Jarron Jones off is just stupid. Call me a homer, these guys are major playmakers on a playoff caliber team, a lot of these other injured players would maybe be in our two-deep.


I know wizards will jump on me for this, but these sort of jabs happen way too often to believe these writers aren't biased.

Taysom Hill to me has been a poor man's Denard Robinson. He can hurt you with his feet, but he is really sub-par passing. Tommy Rees might have been better when we met in 2013...

His numbers against power-5 competition are pretty dismal. I just can't see how, given the choice right now, anyone would opt for Taysom Hill over Malik Zaire if you had to win now. He fits one type of system, and he has to run 30 times a game to open up the passing game enough to put up average numbers.

I don't think that's the point of the article. Isn't the point to make the best team of the injured players, not who actually meant the most to their team?

They went with injured veterans that have previously produced at a high level over injured rookies with better upside. Completely defensible; lots of our injured starters haven't proven much on the field yet.

Jarron Jones is the only guy that should be on the list ahead of who is actually on it but I really don't know a lot about half those DLinemen so who knows.
