Here's what I remember about the basic Kelly offense:
A. Four man routes TIMED to open at four different moments in the play.
B. QB must read those four routes in proper sequence, and take what the defense gives him when it gives.
C. While reading, the QB essentially stands in the pocket, feet constantly moving, BUT this foot movement is in small always balanced throwing-ready steps.
D. QBs head must be up during all of this to make the quick sequential reads and be ready to fire. Ball must also be up.
E. Bombs if they happen will happen only after the second read is gone. Passes could also look like bombs but were usually gashes.
"Fun Fact:" Tommy Rees was the only QB that Kelly has had (here) that could do this small shuffle balance step action in the pocket "naturally."
