Obviously this kid is a baller. Early word is that OSU leads, which would be filthy if they brought in Okudah and Pryor in the same class.

Had really good things to say about ND as well as Coach Sanford and Lyght. His aunt is helping him with recruiting, including scheduling travel plans, I'm assuming paying for the travel as well. He's been talking to her about a unofficial visit, so hopefully that happens. She's going to play a role in his decision.

Another Sanford target. He simply has a decided schematic advantage when it comes to the ladies. No italics.

Scout: he's named OSU his leader with Michigan, Stanford and Texas in the upper pack.

OSU is nasty this year...

Any insight into differences between the pitches? Has Lyght always been the recruiter?

Still doesn't sound too promising. Have a feeling this is one where we make up a lot of ground only to come in 2nd again.

Yes.

Sorry if my comments about Sanford above were misleading. I was just joking around about his hypnotic effect on recruit's mothers.

no insight on differences, just stated he was much more receptive of it....and osu is perceived to be his leader

“Academic prestige,” said Okudah as to what stands out most about Notre Dame. “Networking. Alumni-base. They develop the best out of their [defensive backs]. Coach Lyght was a great ‘DB’ in the NFL. That all catches my eye. I know I could play great football and compete for a national championship.”

“I’m working on my early graduation classes,” said Okudah. “I’m about to finish my first course. So, I’m working on taking six or seven more visits in the summer, sort things out with those schools, then I might have an ultimate decision before my senior season.”

“I want to visit schools I haven’t seen,” said Okudah. “I’m definitely going to get to Clemson, Notre Dame, Michigan. That’s three off the top of my head.”

“It’s been good,” when asked how his spring is going. “It’s my last spring ball at ‘SGP.’ I want to enjoy it. It’s not really about me anymore. It’s about helping out the younger guys. Guys that aren’t getting the exposure they should be getting, and just getting better as a team. We’ve always been a talented team. Now, it’s time to put that to work, so we can go further in the playoffs.”

Scout: narrowing to a top 6 soon. Only knows OSU will make it. Close with Baron Browning, who had good things to say about ND.

Translation: both go to OSU...? HA

That's good, I was starting to worry that OSU wasn't getting enough talent in this year's class

So who's SS and who's FS between Okudah and Pryor?

to me ss is prior (will be linebacker size soon) and fs is okudah (rangy and athletic)

Yeah that's what i thought but then I see they are listed as the same size.

Prior has LB head for sure.

Can't wait for ND to be the... Fab 5 / Flavor of the Recruiting Cycle, School of the Year, like OSU is this cycle.

They needed OSU and UM to break the Bama cycle. They at least did that.

Now, gotta get nail one of these next couple of cycles before Texas, Tennessee, Florida or worse, SC shifts back into top gear. '18 could be that year if ND can lay down a great season against a schedule that is trying to cooperate for once.

I am pretty damn, actually really damn jealous of Georgia class and OSU.

I like the potential of ours but both of theirs is damn elite

You speak like the classes are finished when they are anything but.

Well OSU class is elite right now and Georgia's is as well. I don't think ours will be elite so that's why I am making this assumption

Btw didn't make Okudah top 6

Is elite top 3, 5, 10? We currently sit 6 right? I'd take top 10 class every damn year.
