Hillary needs to go the fuck away. It is shocking how much influence she still has, and how people are trying to keep her relevant despite the fact that she routinely says outlandish shit like “I won the election.”

The hit job she is trying to put on Gabbard is comical, and it’s disturbing how many “influencers” are falling in line for it. Basically, people are mad that Tulsi speaks truth to power (Clinton, Harris, etc.) and are going to absurd lengths to try to knee cap her before she can do damage to someone they care about like Warren or Biden.

HRC just backed out of a DC event that Gabbard is supposed to be at lol...

I'm sure this gave TG's campaign a good boost. Warren/Biden/Sanders are probably wishing HRC would STFU.

Hilldog is now saying Tulsi Gabbard and Jill Stein are both Russian assets lol....

Said Gabbard is a favorite of the Russians and they'd like her to run as a 3rd party candidate.

Good lord she's embarrassing herself.

What’s more embarrassing is the Democrats that believe what HRC claimed w/o a shred of evidence. I guess McCarthyism is ok by Dems if it suits their party.

Anyone who remembers the 1992 & 1996 elections should find it ironic that HRC is claiming that a 3rd party candidate cost her the election & would cost the Dem nominee this year if Tulsi went 3rd party (which Gabbard already said wouldn’t happen).

Especially 92. Perot got damned near 20% of the vote.

While I think Trump is pretty disgusting, HRC easily takes the cake.

Why can't we have sane and decent politicians near the center anymore...

That was nuts. Clinton never had a majority...under 50% in both elections. I remember rumors that the Republican Party of Arkansas delivered a stack of damning information on Clinton to George HW Bush but he/his campaign refused to use it. Either he thought he had it in the bag (doubtful) or that he was ready to ride off into the sunset & be a grandpa.

DNC railroads the democratic process in their primaries and forces their candidate on the masses, candidate of choice loses the national election, DNC and candidate of choice that probably never should have been in the first place then spend years complaining of fixes and rigs... it's surreal.

How dare she think we need to end the endless foreign wars! Take on the Military Industrial Complex and you will be attacked - probably the best thing her campaign could have asked for, creates some relevancy and Hillary haters open up checkbooks.

Ryan Quits Presidential Race

U.S. Rep. Timothy J. Ryan, D-Howland, announced a few minutes ago that he is dropping out of the 2020 presidential race.

HOWLAND — Low on money and struggling to get to even 1 percent in the polls, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan said today he’s withdrawn from the 2020 Democratic presidential race.

Ryan, D-Howland, will run for re-election to the 13th Congressional District.

“I got into this race in April to really give voice to the forgotten people of our country: the workers who have been left behind, the businesses who have been left behind, the people who need health care or aren’t getting a quality education, or are saddled by tremendous debt,” Ryan said. “I’m proud of this campaign because I believe we’ve done that. We’ve given voice to the forgotten communities and the forgotten people in the United States.”

The writing appeared on the wall when Ryan’s campaign filed a finance report Oct. 15 that showed he raised only $425,731.01 during the third quarter, the 17th lowest amount among Democratic presidential candidates. It was also less than half of what he collected in the second quarter when he was again at the bottom of the money list of Democrats seeking that office.

As of Sept. 30, Ryan’s campaign had only $158,348.92 in its account. Also, he failed to reach 1 percent in most national polls.

Yet a couple of weeks earlier, Ryan vowed to stay in the race until at least the end of February after the four early-state primaries and caucuses.

That changed with today’s announcement.

“While it didn’t work out quite the way we planned, this voice will not be stifled,” he said. “I will continue to advocate and fight for the working people of this country — white, black, brown, men, women. There’s people who get up every day, take a shower after work sometimes, that are working really hard. And we’re going to continue to fight for making sure that those workers are treated fairly, and that they have access to good health care, that they have a solid pension to retire on.”

Donald broke this woman. Not that she ever really had it together. But she's literally done every. single. thing. that she said Donald Trump would do if he lost. Can't say I've seen this level of projection before. It is truly amazing to behold.

Warren has a medicare for all plan that's going to cost $20 trillion. The employer contribution is going to kill small businesses. She also didn't say what constitutes "additional take home pay". The best is cracking down on tax evasion and fraud.

I thought it was going to cost 52 trillion??? Where'd the other 32 trillion go?

I love it how she's taking more from "take home pay" than from the wealthy lol....

She's a train wreck.

She also admitted her plan would cut like 2M jobs.

According to Forbes, US employers today spend $880 billion on health care benefits for workers and their dependents. So...Warren is going to ask companies to spend 10x that with her plan? Should go over REALLY well. You can just hear the economy plummet....and that doesn't even count the extra cash she's going to squeeze from them in targeted taxes! There goes that bonus I received after Trump's tax cuts.

Beto O’Rourke Is Dropping Out of the Presidential Race
The former Texas congressman, who energized Democrats in a Senate race last year, began his White House run to great fanfare, but failed to build significant support.

By Alexander Burns
Nov. 1, 2019, 5:25 p.m. ET

Former Representative Beto O’Rourke of Texas is dropping out of the presidential race, ending a campaign in which he struggled for months to recapture the energy of his insurgent 2018 Senate candidacy on a national stage full of other big personalities and liberal champions.

Mr. O’Rourke made the decision to quit the race in the middle of this week, on the eve of a gathering Friday of Democratic presidential candidates in Iowa, according to people familiar with his thinking. He is not expected to run for any other office in 2020, despite persistent efforts by party leaders and political donors to coax him into another bid for the Senate.

His campaign has been under extreme financial strain, and Mr. O’Rourke’s advisers concluded that proceeding in the race might have meant making deep cuts to his staff in order to pay for advertising and other measures to compete in the early primary and caucus state.

Mr. O’Rourke planned to announce his withdrawal from the race in Iowa on Friday evening and follow up with an email message to his supporters. In that message, a draft of which was reviewed by The New York Times, Mr. O’Rourke said he was proud of championing issues like guns and climate change but conceded that his campaign lacked “the means to move forward successfully.”

“My service to the country will not be as a candidate or as the nominee,” he said.

By leaving the race, Mr. O’Rourke completes the winding path from his early status as a potential front-runner to his drastic decision over the summer to reframe his candidacy as an activist crusader following the mass shooting targeting Latinos in his home city of El Paso.

Since then, Mr. O’Rourke has campaigned doggedly on issues related to guns and race, calling most notably for federal gun-control policies that would require owners of assault-style weapons to surrender them to the government. That’s a far more aggressive stance than most Democratic presidential candidates have endorsed.

Kamala Harris shutters offices throughout New Hampshire
The retrenchment comes amid a cash crunch that's triggered layoffs and a redeployment of staff to Iowa.

By TRENT SPINER

11/01/2019 03:14 PM EDT Updated: 11/01/2019 04:19 PM EDT

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Sen. Kamala Harris’ campaign has almost completely shuttered its New Hampshire campaign, with no visible activity at any of her offices in the state.

The campaign confirmed it is largely abandoning New Hampshire, keeping only a skeleton crew and canceling an upcoming visit. Harris also will not file in person to be on the ballot, a tradition that garners local media attention.

“The campaign has made a strategic decision to realign resources to go all-in on Iowa, resulting in office closures and staff realignments and reductions in New Hampshire,” said spokesman Nate Evans. “The campaign will continue to have a staff presence in New Hampshire but the focus is and will continue to be on Iowa.”

At her Portsmouth office, a large chalkboard could be seen through the window that reads, “105 days until Feb. 11.” That would have been Oct. 29, the day before Harris’ campaign announced it would lay off dozens of people and redeploy others to Iowa as she hemorrhaged cash. The office was checked four times throughout the day, and each time the doors were locked and lights were out.

A hundred miles away in Keene, the office in a storefront on Main Street was dark, chairs were folded up, and a bag of Cheetos and Halloween candy sat on one of a number of empty tables at the front of the office.

An undated sign on the door read, “Sorry we missed you, we are all out canvassing!”, according to a tweet from Jake Lahut, a Keene Sentinal reporter. It gave the number of John Enkler, who identifies himself as a field organizer for Harris in a social media profile. He declined to comment.

In Nashua, one of the state’s biggest cities, the only evidence left that Harris had an office there was one line — “Kamala Harris” — on a listing of offices on the fifth floor. A small glass window into Suite 501 showed it to be empty. There was a “Space Available” sign outside the building, though it appeared there were other empty offices in the building.

The campaign’s field organizers working in the state were all laid off Thursday, per a campaign source. The remaining skeletal staff will work out of Manchester.

The office there appeared closed and empty during two visits in the morning, but a light was on later in the day. A man walked out in the early afternoon and said the campaign was going well. There were still dozens of bright yellow lawn signs, a big drawing of the phonetic pronunciation of "Kamala" and information about how to receive text messages from the campaign.

New Hampshire has never been seen as a priority for Harris, though until this week she had insisted that she intended to compete vigorously here.

Doug Emhoff, Harris’ husband, helped open the office in August, speaking to supporters in front of a wall full of purple and orange campaign posters that are now gone. It was one of four offices she opened in the state. The campaign touted each opening, earning local media coverage from daily newspapers in each city.

Harris has gone all-in on Iowa after a continuing slump through the summer and now fall. The campaign took off after launching in front of a crowd of 22,000 people in Oakland, but is now retrenching in an effort to conserve resources.

The top-tier Democratic candidates have dozens of staffers on the ground here, some over 60, with offices in each of the ten counties throughout the state.

One idiot down.

I heard he said "Fxxx that job" after finding out there was a no-standing-on-tables policy in the WH. Decided to refocus his time back on poetry.

After the success of "wax my ass / buff my balls", he's working on a sequel called "milk my nipples oh bald cow"

Whoops! Tough Week On The Campaign Circuit

Whoops! Tough Week On The Campaign Circuit

Apparently a couple of awkward responses to questions by a couple of candidates. I've seen clips on both of these but have not found media coverage to link. Most of the Harris flack seemed to be twitter stuff.

Joe Biden,
... except being a social worker which my daughter is. um, I'll tell you what. I wished I had raised one kid a Republican who could go out and make some real money.

Psst Joe you have a child who made some real money, even though it may not have been a real job.

Kamala Harris
Nothing stops a bullet like a job.

The question she was responding to wasn't in the 6 second clip I found but she got soundly thrashed by the twitter crowd. I read (in a tweet) she was quoting a clergyman she knows that apparently uses that slogan to mean those with jobs are off the streets and thus not in harms way. Many objected strenuously citing people shot by police at home, in a traffic stop, or walking on the street.

Scrutiny's going to get tougher with Beto and others fading into obscurity.

Harris is fading faster than a speeding bullet. After a poor showing in Iowa, I expect her to drop out unless she lets her pride get in the way and continues to waste people's money.

"Registered voters" are not "likely voters" and they almost always overrate the Democrat.

Trump would sweep Bernie in all six states.

I wonder if this will cause the media to re-evaluate the weird love for Warren. She cant hang with Donald, and Bernie would get clocked as well.

Biden is their only hope and I'm not sure he would do well either. So old and full of weird gaffes.

All they have to do is pick a nice status quo type...a democrat Romney type dude and they win. But they won't lmaooo

Can't wait to see Warren and Sanders flip the switch and start going after Biden.

Biden is a gaffe machine waiting to happen. Even with all the softballs tossed his way, he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about half the time.
