I’ve always liked Ed O. He seems humble and to be of good character. He was the perfect fit for that school and it does give me joy seeing him beat Tom Herman and run like this after that hiring process.

That video reminded me of this clip:

I was like huh?

But then I saw the US Steel logo and realized you're a front runner. I take it you were a Yankee fan until 2016?

I'm talking about UM's Harbaugh.

And I've been a Steelers fan since the Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox days. Those were tough times.

Is there any chance he'd do that? Maybe realized this weekend he's never going to beat Ohio State and should leave before the fans realize that too?

Personally, I think it is just a matter of time before he's back in the NFL. He's had way more success in the NFL than at Michigan. Then again, his very controlling mentality works better with kids than grown men.

At least Harbaugh gets to look forward to playing at the Shoe next year with Fields in his NFL year, LOL.

He's staring 0-6 right in the face.

Sad part is, they could be undefeated going into the final week. Their schedule pre-OSU is an absolute joke and they should get publicly shamed.

That would be the most ND outcome possible.

Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

According to Dan Wolken, Arkansas has interviewed Lane Kiffin, Mike Leach & Willie Fritz. Rumor-wise, it sounds like it’s almost unanimous towards Kiffin w/ one significant holdout. John Tyson of Tyson Foods wants his buddy, Butch Davis; to be the next HC on the Hill....he’s rumored to have pledged $40M for Davis.

I don’t remember all the details but didn’t he get run out of San Francisco in the end? Seems like the sort who wears out his welcome after five years or so regardless of the age of his players. Though maybe he’d get a longer rope at Michigan.

I think he's stubborn enough to stick it out and try to win a BIG title and/or beat OSU but the talent gap is actually widening, which may be why Harbaugh wet his pants when he was asked about it the other day.

In 2015, the year Harbaugh took over if I'm not mistaken, OSU had a team talent composite of 907.32 while Michigan was an 851.12.

In 2019, OSU was at 973.56 while Michigan is at 853.40

The gap has widened from 56.2 to 120.16, and will only get wider next year with OSU's class.

That Michigan game was a gut punch but its important to remind your family and friends who are unfortunate Michigan fans that they can't win their division without beating OSU (almost a certainty), they can't win their conference without winning their division, and they can't get into the playoffs without winning their conference (again, almost a certainty). I know a lot of ND fans aren't get frustrated with ND's scheduling given the current system but we have an easier path to the playoffs than Michigan. Harbaugh has to know this is an uphill battle, and the climb may not be worth the effort if he can get back into the NFL.

Mike Bobo out at Colorado State

Urban Meyer was photographed on the CSU campus this week. Even though his wife loves Ft Collins, no one is expecting him to return there where he once coached. The rumor was he was there lobbying on behalf of Tony Alford for the head coaching gig. Strange because Bobo had not officially been let go at the time of his visit. Bobo is expected to return to the south and land a good OC job quite possibly at South Carolina.

Bobo reached an agreement to step down so he and CSU probably knew where this was headed for a while now.

Looks pretty similar to this year. 9 Big 10 games. 3 OOC games which include 2 cupcakes and Washington. They essentially traded out ND for Washington. Kind of a wash depending on the year, lately.

The media has some infatuation with scUM. Their bball team was undefeated but not even ranked. They win a tourney and boom they're #4. How in the world does that happen? Then they meet UoL and get spanked.

Tyson Foods wants Butch Davis at Arkansas and will throw tens of millions of dollars around for that to happen.

When you say Tyson foods I assume you mean John Tyson, and when you say tens of millions you mean a rumored $40 million? At least that’s what my sources are telling me.

I'm not so sure about that. Washington is having a down year and they'll lose a good coach but they're not easy to beat at home. From 2016-2018, they lost one home game, and that was to USC in 2016. PSU and Wiscy are in AA but Michigan isn't exactly dominant at home.

They must be as impressed with how he's taken FIU from an 8 win team to a 6 win team and his 23-15 overall record in the last three years.

Who in their right mind would put up any money for Butch Davis?

You ever try Tyson chicken?

Mike Leach and Matt Campbell getting extensions are exactly why people should not believe rumors. This stuff gets floated so they can get more money from their current employers.

Extensions are insurance policies. Coach and school just up the buyouts. Campbell can leave in a year if he wants, it'll just cost more.

Campbell would be stupid to leave.

I firmly believe the best two coaching jobs in America are in the state of Iowa.

Campbell and Ferentz have manageable expectations, supportive fan bases, competitive salaries, job security, and don't have for sale signs in their yard after 8, 9, and 10 win seasons.

All you got to do is develop some corn-fed boys and get a bowl somewhere warm, boom! good year!

It's not one of the 25 schools that will be pissed off to not be playing for the NC.
