I would of been happy with Mullen, he tends to make mediocre QB's excel in his offense and he knows how to play to their strengths.

Didn’t want Schiano but would have been down for Mullen. Schiano would never be considered by ND given his history. My sad face was as someone slightly a fan of Tennessee, as this was an atrocious hire.

Chip Kelly picking UCLA over UF is not a good sign for the Gators. They're going to panic and pick Frost and if Frost spurns them then the perception is they are 2nd tier program. They may not be good again for a while.

Now there's talk that they aren't going to finalize the deal because of all the backlash. What a shitshow. Who do they go after next if Schiano and Gruden are out?

If we don't make a move this off-season, I hope FSU or Fisher does. That's a really attractive job and I don't want to compete with that opening next year. A lot of changes happening this year, if guess next year there are fewer big time openings, but who knows.

Been reading CFB news today and amid the firings I see Sparty people happy about a great run for them to go from 3-9 to 9-3 even though they know they played bad against ND and OSU. Meanwhile, we go frm 4-8 to 9-3 and knowing we played bad against Miami and Stanford and lost our starting QB to NFL and brought in new coordinators on both sides of the ball and so many people seem pissed. These other teams that fired their coaches did even worse than us and are grabbing coaches that were back on the merry go round.

I will see what Kelly and the new coaches can do with these guys and the new recruits in these extra bowl practices and the spring. And no I am not turning a blind eye to things that need improvement, but a retooling is a retooling, I never thought we would be in the playoff hunt to begin with.

If Schiano doesn't happen at UTK and the Gruden thing is a unicorn (I haven't followed neither) Brohm to Knoxville wouldn't be a bad move, would it? One that I think a Kentucky kid would understand.

Sumlin is what Boliler fans have been dreaming about. Would they outbid the others is the question. If Norvell leaves Memphis, Sumlin to Memphis (or ASU) makes sense too.

Hey STL... given the reactions and doing more reading, I can honestly say I had no idea that the hatred towards him was quite this high and the PSU stuff quite this bad... he obviously shouldn't be a HC, anywhere.
