I'd say you interpreted my question perfectly.

I'm not arguing we aren't going to see a marked improvement at LB this year, but something definitely was lost along the way if there is more than very cautious optimism for these guys IMO. I personally don't see any of the current LBs blowing what's left of my hair back, but definitely want to be pleasantly surprised.

Give yourself some credit. You have beautiful and flowing hair.

I don't like Cutler, but I have to admit that I felt a little bit bad for him seeing this.

Ha. I don't feel bad for him. His wife is hot, and it's refreshing to hear that famous people marriages are like real people marriages. lol

Made a couple more nice under the radar moves today. It's pretty funny if you look at almost all of the transactions almost everyone was drafted by Pace/coached by Fox.

Illness is the reported cause.

Sounds like it was heat related. If a guy from Georgia can't handle heat and humidity, WTF is gonna happen to him during a Chicago winter?

Actually, it sounds like he shit his pants and to spare him the embarrassment, they carted him off. I'd be more worried that Long strained his calf.

Sounds more like he had a prior illness and caused dehydration. I remember getting sick a lot around this time of the year a while back.

It's time like these where I wonder what I did to deserve this kind of sh*t.

3-10 combined record between the Bears and Irish. Another week goes by and the Bears fall short against a team they should beat.

At some point I have to wonder if this team is moving in the right direction or if they ever will?

It's always something.

I have literally nothing to be happy about in sports this year...

Unlike ND, the silver lining with the Bears is every loss is one step closer to being in a position to draft someone worth a damn. I'd be more disappointed if they do their typical "inexplicably win 3-4 games down the stretch" to put them near the bottom half of the top 10.

The only problem with them getting a better draft pick, is, based on the past few drafts, they'll find some way to fuck it up!!! I wasn't a huge fan of the Kevin White pick, and Kyle Fuller cannot seem to stay healthy, either. And no, I don't think Kyle Long is all that good on the OL

If they are in a position to get Myles Garrett or Jabril Peppers I'll be very happy.

Bears were supposed to suck, because they have sucky players.

ND hurts way worse.

Given the amount of injuries, I anticipated this team would fall on it's face, but not this hard. They are 1-5 and now they have to play the Packers and Vikings in back to back weeks. Granted, the Packers aren't good either, but if we can't even beat Jaxonville or Indy, then I have my doubts we can beat anyone.

Also, as much as we like to pan Longo and our injury problems, I really want to know what is going on in Halas Hall, because half our roster is out for extended periods of time every single year. It's ridiculous.

Then there's that. I thought the defense played well considering they were on the field the whole second half.

They were impressive prior to getting gassed. Glad to see Floyd come into his own. There was panic that he was going to be a bust.

Also Barkley sucks...color me shocked.

The league may need to redefine what "performance enhancing drugs" are after the second Bear in a week got popped for 4 games.

Anyone who watches knows these guys have not shown any enhancement in performance.

Well Freeman has been playing like one of the best linebackers in the league, so it's not out of place for him. Jeffery I assumed just took it to stay healthy, and that hasn't exactly worked out so well

TWO drops in the endzone in the last minute.

Next year's draft is going to be like Christmas morning after your parents won the lottery.
