Been doin' some real-life shit.

Since I'm not a football savant, I tend to restrict myself to stories (most boring, others at least marginally entertaining) and wise-ass, pithy comments.

Far too many of my banter mates have been banned or chosen to get outta IE Dodge.

Trying to catch up after a hiatus of a week or two is daunting and tedious.

I watch the games, curse when appropriate, and give shit, toss shade, harass and harangue ND haters I know when it's safe to do so.

I'll possibly re-join the many political threads when Mordor has been decimated.

I can't afford to drink to drink the expensive stuff on my own tab.

I live alone, so cooking is now at a minimum.

With no home of my own these days, improvement/repair/projects are pretty well nil, though occasional nuggets of wisdom based on 33 years of home ownership might leak out now and then.

I've all but given up on dispensing grammar lessons or commentary since it's all but a thankless lost cause.

Buy me a beer or twelve and it all might change.

Nutshell:

A stout, dominant defense holding defenses to zero points is all I really ask for. A safety is then all that is needed.

Another NC before I die would be nice. None of us are getting any younger, and I've got a bigger jump on "not getting any younger" than most of you whipper-snapper, wet-behind-the-ears pups.
