I really hope that it's nobody and it's just a bullshit rumor, but Mahone isn't someone I'd lose sleep over. Still would definitely suck, because I've heard he's a good guy, so this seems out of character for someone like him, but in terms of on-field production, this wouldn't hurt a bit.

Look I know nobody is rooting for anyone to get kicked off of the team or out of school, but losing Mahone, from a football perspective, really isn't a big deal.

I think you are mis-understanding Lax's post. I read it as - "If it is Mahone, that is better than it being Cam, Folston, or Bryant"

No matter who it is, this stinks. I think they all were going to be a big part of the offense, as well as I hate guys throwing away a wonderful opportunity.
