I agree PSU wont drop out of the top 10 with a loss, but I have to assume a 2 loss OSU team will. Gotta hope PSU pulls off the upset. As of now I assume ND will be fine, but If they keep a 2 loss OSU team in the top 10, it could be an uphill battle making the playoffs because there will potentially be a lot of 2 loss teams they could put ahead of us if that is the case. Then we'd have to worry about Bama/LSU, TN/GA, TAM/TX, etc.

Just made one where OSU, aTm, KState, and Clemson run the table for conference champions, and then had:

12-1 Oregon, 11-1 PSU, 11-1 Indiana
12-1 Miami, 11-1 Pitt
12-1 BYU, 11-1 Iowa State
11-2 UGA, 10-2 Bama, 10-2 Tex, 10-2 Tenn
11-1 ND

12 teams all arguing for 7 spots

ND would get in because they beat the SEC champion at their stadium in that scenario. I can't see 11-1 Pitt make it either, seeing as they barely get any respect right now and they're undefeated. IU might not either.

I saw a scenario where a SEC team finished 11-1, but with tie breakers, didn’t get in the SEC title game.
So that team gets in along with the other two for sure with no risk of losing a second game.
