Why a 4-Star F Decided to Play Basketball at Harvard Over Michigan & Ohio State | Bleacher Report
The Considerable Attrition of Stanford's 2010 Recruiting Class | mgoblog
article on Harbaughs recruiting style from him time @ stanford. seemingly he likes to accept early commits and then down the line if he feels the player is longer a fit he lets them go. I wonder if he will do this will all the 2 star kids he has been getting commits from recently
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff pressured a player to quit football, reportedly asking defensive lineman Ondre Pipkins to sign a medical scholarship form "about 10 times over a two month period," according to comments from the player to ESPN.

Aren't they not even close to reaching 85 anyways? Why would he do this?

Idk...knee injury and two concussions, might be time for him to hangup the cleats and think about the rest of his life.
I remember Pipkins coming out of high school, big time player.

Hasn't even coached his first game, and Harbaugh is already causing issues:

Yeah it was all around weird on both parts I thought. Definitely more on Harbaugh's side though.
Cowherd started the interview by asking Harbaugh if there's ever any moments in the day that Harbaugh isn't in intense coach mode. (Or a question like that)
Harbaugh responds by saying "Hello, how are you?" to Cowherd, since Cowherd pretty much skipped that part. Weird on Cowherd's part. Cowherd responds "Hello, good to hear from you blah blah" Then asks his original question again. Harbaugh then tries to the answer and just kinda goes "Uhh I don't know, I'd have to go ask my wife"
Then Cowherd brings up the Big Ten and how there's quite a few coaches that are the up and coming and that if Harbaugh thinks the Big Ten is a "buy"... Harbaugh was confused and thought he meant "bye" as in a bye-week. I was kind of confused as well by the question.
Then Cowherd makes it clear as he meant "buy" - Harbaugh just kinda didn't really answer. He was just like "uhh yeah"
Cowherd asked like 5 or so legitimate questions but Harbaugh just kind of answered like "uhh yeah" or "I'm not sure, I don't know"
Harbaugh then asks "What do you want out of this?" (talking about the interview itself.)
Cowherd then just kind of said "Ok this is done" and hung up.
It was odd.
