I think tonight's game will determine everything. They lose tonight, I could see a complete freefall.

Utah is such a bad matchup for them. Utah won't give them any due respect and if they get on them early they will definitely run up the score on them. Gonna be a long season for Harbaugh methinks

I'm looking forward to this game almost as much as ND Texas. Hope Harbaugh gets beat so badly that little spots of tinkle show up on his khakis.

Harbaugh was run out of town because he's nuttier than squirrel shit. I don't think that's unprecedented. Most NFL coaches stay there because they can control a team of adults.

he was run out of town by the owner and GM.

He didn't get along with the owner and GM of the team. It's pretty simple. The GM was trying to get him to fire his OC, he wouldn't do it. The GM over-ruled him on a lot of personnel decisions as well. Harbaugh told Jed York to get out of the locker room because the locker room is for men.

The little trust fund baby who has never worked an honest hard day in his life because his mommy comes from a family of billionaires, didn't like being disrespected by Jim Harbaugh so he fired him. Pretty simple. York is running one of the greatest franchises in pro sports right into the ground.

Any comments to the reports that he had lost the locker room?

I don't think that's true. Lots of players came out in show of support for him. He had great relationships with the leaders of that team like Patrick Willis and Frank Gore. Even Vernon Davis, who said we were losers before he got here, he made us winners.

Are there players on that team that didn't like him? I wouldn't doubt it. He's not an easy guy to play for, very demanding, very tough. But Vernon Davis was right, he took a bunch of losers and made them winners. Guys that didn't like him will see how fun it is to play football when you go 5-11, 4-12, 3-13 like they will this year.

I'd love to see Harbaugh get pissed off like he do. Get purple faced so they can drop that crap against Kelly for one game in 2011. Maybe even send out Harbaugh like Woody Hayes.

Lies, blasphemy! Jim Harbaugh is the most likable human being that ever walked the earth. Ladies want him, men want to be him, little tiny babies hope to grow up and BE him! All those stories about Harbaugh being an asshole behind the scenes and in post game handshakes are BS created by the media to try and bring Harbaugh down! Dear leader is infallible!

Took a PTO day tomorrow just so I could stay up and watch Utah beat their ass. Well kind of but sounds good (actually closing on a new house tomorrow).

Michigan, fuck 'em.

pretty sure you can watch on comcast xfinity site or app, no?

I know with DirecTV you can go to their website and log in and watch live TV streams.

Comcast has something just like this, right? I'd assume that anyways.

Or you could just watch TCU-Minnesota on ESPN, a game that actually matters.

I've decided that Michigan isn't even worth my hate a la USC. I'm just going to ignore them.

Did anyone watching UNC-USC notice that the trivia question was "who was the last defending champion to lose their opener?" And the answer was Michigan in 1988? WTF?!? They didn't win anything (other than the Hall of Fame Bowl) in 1987.

97-98, not 87-88.

I didn't see it to know whether it was a typo or if you misread it but that's the correct answer.

They misreported it then, because they clearly said 1988, and even showed they lost to ND 19-17, not 36-20.

Yeah ESPN had an error. It's getting play because both analysts answers were nonsensical, and then the Aflac answer itself was wrong to boot.

Jesse Palmer said "Michigan in the mid to late 80's." It's pretty obvious they are fed answers, based on the response. Too big of a coincidence.

Yup. That was my takeaway. I was like "what the hell? Michigan didn't win shit in the 80s?" ... and then you see the typo answer and I just chuckled to myself knowing exactly what happened.

So far Michigan looks undisciplined with a false start on their opening drive, their OL is getting beat, and Utah is fired up. Delicious, I hope it lasts.

I expect them to get smoked honestly... Solid first drove tho, I'll give them that...
