Obviously you do, because you clicked on something that clearly stated that it was a message from GB. He apologized, and as predicted, most people are real cool about it, and as predicted, a few people would be real douches about it.

And I disagree..with some posters and some posts, and I am better off after reading what they said. And with what you just wrote, I feel worse off cause I can't get this minute of my life back that I just wasted...

Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes guys on here are way too invested in the decisions of high school kids and college football in general. Give the kid a break in my opinion (which means nothing). Hopefully he learns not to take things too seriously and don't sweat the small stuff lads. Things are good and only getting better!

From your last two posts, I really don't think that you read my post thoroughly. I said nothing of the sort. I don't think GB should have to apologize, I just said that I don't necessarily believe the sincerity of it. I think that he wants to come back and wants people to feel sorry for him. I don't give two $hits if he comes back, that's his choice, he wasn't banned. He left on his own.

I judge people on their actions, and I don't believe that GB is going to come back and be this new and improved version. He may have a brief moment of reverting back to who he used to be when he first joined, but in a couple weeks... I believe that he will turn into the same poster he was when he left and the same poster he currently is on other boards.

But again, he doesn't owe anyone an apology. If we had to publicly apologize for every time we are a d1ck on here... well then some people should just stick an ongoing apology in their signature.

and really.... if he was seriously sorry, he would address the real issue.

I get it if your insulting another member...but heated discussions and disagreements should be welcome. If you want to sit around and hold hands and sing the ND fight song, be my guest. I'm here to get other perspectives...not talk about how great ND is, because we all already love ND.


Enjoy the banter. Sack up and understand that there are some on here that are going to have a problem with the Irish from time to time and it's not all going to be positive. This is not the offical ND cheerleading site.

This whole ordeal reminds me of when Brett Favre was in the midst of one of his "retirements." He had a PR firm that wisely would "leak" miniscule information every few months when they noticed nobody cared anymore to prop him back up as a Sportscenter top story.

I'm contributing to the problem by posting here and understand the irony in it, but this thread is only doing two things IMO:

1. Enabling GB to continue to put himself on a pedestal

2. Making our board look like a bunch of pantywaists (as many have said earlier)

Yeah.....no. I clicked on it because it is a thread and I was curious about what it contained. I don't care whether any individual poster posts or not. Nobody is that important. I also don't know or care what he is apologizing about. I'm not being a douche. I don't dislike the guy. I just don't know why some people here deem themselves to be so important that their decision about whether or not to participate needs to be explained. As I said, post or don't post. People really aren't worrying about you when you're not here (except trinity - that was legitimately concerning because he seemed like the kind of dude that could just get lost one day).
