UTjr winning the east? Did you see who Josh Dobbs beat last year? No one is intimated by a guy with no eye brows. They are a year or two away plus Butch Jones has one career win against the top 25.

A Saban lead team losing 4 games? They have the most talented roster in the country

Michigan winning 10 games? With Jake Ruddock?

TCU maybe I think they are overrated as Clemson is

Non SEC member? West is way to good not to have one. I think auburn wins it all

I like your bold predictions but those are very bold

fearless

1) If ND loses to GT, then ND just flat out sucks. This team and coaching staff is plenty experienced vs the option so ND should have an easier time vs GT than any team out there. Plus you are talking about a team well under talented compared to ND. If ND loses this, then they really dont deserve to be remotely considered a top team

2) USC will come down to injuries vs ND or vs USC just like last year. USC got ND when the DL was depleted. ND got USC the year before when USC's qb was down.

3) If #1, then do not deserve to remotely be in the top ten at all

4) SEC runner up is better than any other conferences #1. Last year was a fluke guys. The same OSU team that was being taken to the wire by Navy and half of the B10 beats Bama and Oregon? It was a case of peaking at the right time. Either team playing OSU regular season wins by three touchdowns.

5) This could definitely become a possibility.

What in the world are you talking about? This isn't your brother's GT team. This team won 11 games last season, almost beat FSU in the ACC title game and went out and ran Miss St in the Orange Bowl.

They have a very well respected coach, great QB and play aggressive/fast. Georgia Tech is a good opponent. One of the better ones on our schedule, in fact.

This isn't a pre-2012 world anymore. You just can't say the SEC's #2 is better than everyone else. Last year wasn't a fluke. TCU proved it on the field against Ole Miss by 40. In '13, FSU was better than the SEC's #2 AND #1. and in '12, the #2 SEC team (Georgia) finished #5 in the final poll after Oregon, OSU and ND.

...I see them as less likely...(ie fearless), but certainly in the realm of possible. Ain't Hatin, just trying to come up with something that is a stretch, but credible.

If I pick negative stuff, its more of a superstitious prophylactic...I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Never an ND hater, at least until the gameday thread...:).

Certainly possible, but let's not come up with wack-ass excuses even before we play the game

1. We have less than 20 sacks as a team this year
2. We find out CJ Prosise isn't nearly as good as everyone thinks he is. He runs for less than 300 yards all year.
3. Will Fuller tops 1,200 yards receiving, but ends up with only 5 TDs.
4. Aliz'e Jones catches less than 5 passes
5. The NCAA allows Bruce Heggie to have another year of eligibility. He throws for 8000 yards and 125 TDs, rushes for 6578 yards with 97 TDs, has 2400 pancake blocks, 908 tackles, 68 sacks, 52 INTs, makes all 2 of his field goal attempts, has a punting average of 75 yards per punt, 1200 kick return yards with 6 TDs, and 590 punt return yards with 5 TDs.

Thanks, and mad reps for the effort! I knew we could count on you!

1. Smythe turns into a solid in-line tight end but gets reps stolen by....
2. ...Jones, who shows flashes of being a future all american early and often.
3. Weisher develops and provides us with quality depth.
4. Which opens the door for Luatua to move over to defensive end and put together a double digit sack season (IE questions decision making of the staff for initially playing him on offense but ultimately praise Kelly for being able to find positions for players).
5. Heuerman gains ten pounds and Luongo takes all the credit (we find out later that he taped a ten pound weight to his stomach at the team weigh in).

Who would have guessed we'd have more potential at the position AFTER Koyack graduated.

1. ND losses to UMASS and BK is fired immediately after NDNATION threatens to raze the stadium.
2. On an interim basis, Lou takes over and finishes on 7 game win streak
3. Lou, with his new found power, fires Jack and becomes AD for 3 months to pick a new coach
4. Lou ultimately decides only he can coach, retakes the reigns Bill Snyder style.
5. Zaire wins the Heisman in 2016 while winning a Natty. Upon completion, Holtz retires and takes over Ted's office on the top of the library.

1. We will have 3 picks in the top 20 in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Maybe?

2. We finish with a better record than all but 1 SEC team but finishes behind an SEC team with a worse record in the final playoff rankings.

Half right. If Florida wins will probably be 100% correct.

3. We beat Texas and Clemson by a combined 30 points.

Nailed it?

4. We beat Pittsburgh, Navy, and Virginia by a combined 14 points.

Not quite but I was on the right track.

5. We won't miss Kyle Brindza.

Nailed it

Lol I think Prosise played behind a great O line. Folston is the back next year, I was way off with Will Fuller, dude is a bad boy. Four of the five predictions correct? Not to bad
