Yep, with Walker Howard in the class immediately preceding Moore, I don't get it. He can say that's not a factoring decision but it has to be.

It's one thing to come in behind an upper classman like Buchner knowing that you might have to sit for maybe ONE season but to directly compete with a fellow 5 star right off the bat for years? Doesn't add up.

The NIL check would be intriguing now but the path to playing time/exposure is easier at ND.

Brian Kelly's QB development at Notre Dame is an indictment right on paper for all to see. Kizer went in Round 2, mostly because he and Kelly didn't mesh as personalities, and now Kizer is a journeyman QB at age 26.

Now Kizer, like Quinn, didn't get helped by being drafted by Cleveland who at the time just didn't have their shit anywhere near together. Be that as it may, Kelly's QB track record until proven otherwise took a hard stop at Cincinnati.
