Cam Newton about Cam Newton lolI don't think Cam has any real loyalty to Auburn. All about that bag
Just wait until CJ Carr posts a picture of a random animal...#TeamCJCarr 100%
yeah doesnt make sense for a 5-star QB to be a silent commit, i would think you would announce in order to recruit talent around you.You would think if Moore was silently committed like some think he would want to be at ND recruiting his future teammates during the biggest recruiting week for ND.
It does if you're trying to build your brand and boost your NIL value...yeah doesnt make sense for a 5-star QB to be a silent commit, i would think you would announce in order to recruit talent around you.
To be fair we seem to be doing pretty well in the WR department right now without Moore being publicly committed. Unless you think Carnell Tate is really coming here I'm not sure how big a difference it makes at this point.yeah doesnt make sense for a 5-star QB to be a silent commit, i would think you would announce in order to recruit talent around you.
according to most of the beat/recruiting reports Moore isn't a huge Rah-Rah guy, not the type that would build rapport with other recruits etc. CJ Carr on the other hand is described as suchyeah doesnt make sense for a 5-star QB to be a silent commit, i would think you would announce in order to recruit talent around you.
Even if Buchner does turn out to be a player, ND's QB depth chart after this upcoming season is gonna be *scary* bad if they strike out in 2022.Can we strike a futures deal with OSU for a future disgruntled 5 star back-up? Maybe take him out on loan?
This assumes we don't land Moore? Cause a depth chart of:Even if Buchner does turn out to be a player, ND's QB depth chart after this upcoming season is gonna be *scary* bad if they strike out in 2022.
- Buchner
- Angeli (who ... well, opinions differ on him)
- Tommy didn't recruit anyone else in 2022, so I guess Powlus?
KSU's scenario also seems to assume that Pyne is transferringThis assumes we don't land Moore? Cause a depth chart of:
Buchner
Moore

Powlus
Sounds pretty freaking awesome to me.
Right. I don't see why Drew would stick around for 2023 if he already has his degree and has no chance of starting.KSU's scenario also seems to assume that Pyne is transferring
That's certainly the argument the ND staff would make. I'm not sure if that's the best one for *him*, however. The argument for staying would be Pyne still has a role this year, maybe Buchner gets hurt. Therefore he would stay next year to be part of a Natty contender and know he could be called upon, similar to Rees staying
If you believe he’s not a NFL player, wouldn’t the best choice be to work towards a legitimate graduate degree at ND then instead of spending one year making a purely football decision at a likely inferior school? That's certainly the argument the ND staff would make. I certainly wouldn’t either, and I’ve actually said in the past a Pyne transfer this year wouldn’t have been that out of the realm of possibility. On the flip side now for this debate, I don’t think it’s that out of the realm he would just stay for 2023. There is certainly valid reasons both waysIf he has his ND degree I wouldn't fault him for going to the MAC and playing one last season of the game he's given his life to. Of course, I hope that is not the case for depth purposes.
He'd actually have two years to play and start if he left after the 2022 season. He's only a Redshirt Sophomore. If you believe he’s not a NFL player, wouldn’t the best choice be to work towards a legitimate graduate degree at ND then instead of spending one year making a purely football decision at a likely inferior school?
They're not going to completely strike out in '22. If Moore doesn't pan out, they will go find someone. Probably a three-star Captain Intangibles currently committed elsewhere.Even if Buchner does turn out to be a player, ND's QB depth chart after this upcoming season is gonna be *scary* bad if they strike out in 2022.

Who knows perhaps that person will even turn out to be the winningest quarterback in Notre Dame history, or at least a future offensive coordinator.

My next 3 offers if Moore doesn't pick ND
