Did anyone listen to the Irish Illustrated podcast with Sampson also on it?
They admitted they are less confident in Dante to ND today then they were before.

Loy said could stretch to August, even could go the distance to December.

Assistant coaches across multiple programs, including ND, confused

Not good. If ND misses here, get Marco Lainez this cycle and the start off the 24 class with a QB.

Hopefully Dante and his family are just spreading false or conflicting info as a diversion. He’s widely viewed as an ND lean and possibly (just my opinion no info) getting closer to being ready to commit. Maybe he just wants to make it feel a little less obvious than it has been for the past several months. If we plans to drag this out until NSD I would be in favor of trying to lock down Avery and saying we might end up with two.

What's confusing is that you would be hard-pressed to say what other programs are even seriously in the mix here.

Oregon immediately sent out new offers after he visited. He's clearly just pityfucking Michigan. Sparty has moved on. Is anything happening with Miami? A&M's the new flavor but that's a pretty new development in a long recruitment. LSU? Come on.

This is not your typical elite-player recruitment with a few big dogs in the hunt and you kind of know what you're up against. But then we're in uncharted waters generally here, I suppose. No real choice but to keep trying to reel him in.

Trieu today said that he agreed with Tom on liking ND for Moore.
Not sure what that's worth. If Moore's recruitment ended today, of course we'd be the favorite.

The problem is that it's probably going the distance now. What are the odds that ND doesn't take another QB before then? And if Moore doesn't commit until December, does ND have better odds than the field? The answers are likely "Low" and "No."

Can anyone confirm where Dante is headed for dinner tonight? Just need something to overreact on and over analyze…

Don't disagree, just thought that it was worth adding.

At this point I think Moore owes it to all of us to reclassify to 2022 and enroll here in June.

Honestly is it worth to even wait?? Like with the bust rate of some of these 5 star QBs?? Or just get one who loves ND and keep building these monster D classes… I honestly have no clue

Maybe those other programs realized the kid is wishy washy and don’t want to deal with it.

I'm only half kidding in saying ND should just recruit stud OL and backs and go back to veer/ option. No need for 5 star QBs and WRs there.

From Fuckstick McHolland's weekend interview,

FS: Are you still looking to make a decision in August?

DM: Possibly. It could be a little longer. I don’t know, man. It’s stressful.

I know that this cannot be true (no program would be so risk taking with their cash), but Su'a Craven's comment about being offered $20.000 JUST TO VISIT certain schools (before it was obvious that he was all USC, of course) buzzes around in my head ...

No kid could be THAT savvy of course.

I made $20.000 bucks at a lemonade stand once I thought it was pretty savvy
