People are forgetting about him, but he was going to be a factor this yr before injury. The RB room is stacked.

He’s got the highest ceiling by far, but that injury is serious. If he fully recovers, the sky is the limit.

We need some Price Is Right memes sooner than later.
Notre Dame is stuck in the 70s!
We've had Michael Myers/Mayer references on the Jumbotron the last 3 years, now here comes Price is Right!

What's Achilles timeline recover once you are able to start running generally speaking? Does he have a shot to be recovered and full go for the summer leading into fall? I would assume if he's not full go by the fall it will be hard to work him in during the season if he gets to 100% then.

He tore it in June I believe. I've always remembered expect a year.

Everything I've read usually mentions a year or a little longer. Kay Thompson returned 13 months after he tore his.

Cam Akers returned in less than 6 months. Some don't ever get it back, we'll find out I suppose.

You can return to play in 8-12 months, but I believe you aren't yourself until year two post injury.

I wouldn't count on much this season, and hopefully he is his old self next season. Silver lining is he hurt it before he used up any eligibility, and was able to use a redshirt, instead of his junior or senior year.

He was also 31-32 when going through that injury/rehab.

Unfortunately, our bodies tend to heal and recover A LOT better when we're 21 than they do when we're 31.

I'm learning that the hard way.

I believe it was fully ready for Fall Camp. But, I know some in the media had questions about what that'll really mean. He might be fully ready to participate but not fully ready to take on much of a role.

His last interview 3-4 weeks ago he said full go by summer to be completely ready for the first snap/play of fall camp. He started running over a month ago. So 3 months of running would have him going into summer workouts. I think it's critical for him to be doing summer workouts full go with cutting, catching balls, etc so that when fall comes around he's not worried about the injury, it's just then knocking the rust off with running actual 11-11 plays and getting tackled.

Ultimate question though is will he be back now or ever at 100%. He's definitely added muscle/weight he said since his injury (10lbs).

He was also used heavily in high school so this hiatus may actually allow him to come back even more energized assuming the injury has healed properly.
