Just a gentle reminder from the universe not to put the cart before the horse with regards to having nice things. Fucking ugh...

I was being facetious.
It sounds like it was probably a mutual feeling with staff
Which, in hindsight, was perfectly ok - prior to Diggs/Prices injuries
Me too, but if it was a possibility the staff would have to kick the tires I would think.

I don’t know the reasons behind the scenes, C’ Bo probably saw the writing on the wall and as you said the feeling was mutual. But, here we are, things changed.

Sam Assaf gonna be out feature back by the time we get to October

Seriously, feel bad for the young man. He reportedly had a monster spring and was going to be getting some major reps this year.

See this is where a smart team would use NIL to their advantage. Go find some G5 or FCS proven RB that isn't going to make the league and offer than $100k to transfer and walk on.

Or those that were/are shitting on Kyren Williams for sitting out a month of practice and a bowl game.
Again i shit on Kyren because he accepted the title of team captain. If he hadn’t then fine get your pay day and protect your body. When you accepted being the leader of the team and then you fucking quit on your team and shit on that title by being a healthy scratch then you deserve some derision.

Captains are your best players. Your best players typically have the best chance of being drafted. Dumb mental gymnastics.

Kyren Williams is one of those guys that made me root for ND all of these years.

He's a prototype of a leader, student, and teammate.

He gave everything on the field. Its sad some "fans" who never came close to sniffing an elite locker room think they have anything to say about a man and his family's decision going forward.

Price showed potential at the B&G game, hopefully he has a healthy & safe recovery.

With Diggs also out time for a 1-2 punch with Tyree (if he goes down ND is in trouble) and Estime.

Payne will need to be ready to step up.

No time to panic yet.

Are the assessments more valid if people got close to sniffing elite locker rooms?

You will want this kid to make a full recovery.

We have been praising our current three headed monster backfield and in the practice I watched live...this kid looked different. Hits the hole lightning fast and runs hard as hell. Moves at a different kind of speed.

I wonder if he would have knocked one of the current 3 out of the rotation if he were fully healthy this year.

it was a lock. There were reports he was going to be the 1st or 2nd back out. We have talent, now he just need to attack rehab and get right because we're going to need him
Given how well Estime and Diggs have played, that's something. (Of course Diggs was hurt in pre-season but still...)

Could be why they’re going after three backs in this class. Two of whom are burners.
I don't think it has anything to do with Price's status.

ND needs speed and athleticism at the skill positions. You can never have too much of it. IMO, Edwards is likely a slot in college.
