a reminder that one time Driskell said the knock on Buchner was that "he spends too much time with his gf". Lol

If JJ miraculously turns out to be a great NFL QB, old guys who take selfies with their sunglasses on in their trucks are going to have a new messiah.
His Dad? You know those guys see themselves as the Dad "I hope my son can bring home a babe like JJ, I need some of that action too"

Haha. He achieved it with the help of the most elaborate cheating operation college football has, maybe, ever seen.

He "won" a Natty going 10/18 with 140 yds and 0 TD's. That might be the most underwhelming statline for a Natty winning QB of the modern era of college football. But, maybe I'm forgetting someone.

Post Purdue, he averaged 143 yds passing/game and had 4 passing TD's over 6 games, lol. If any team takes him in the first round, I'll cheer when that organization rightfully fires the people that made that decision. Stupidly overrated.

JJ will make the Paxton Lynch draft choice look good.

If we're going this century, Craig Krenzel comes to mind.

He may have played for those cheating POS's up north, but you never want to see this kind of stuff happen.

Silver lining is that if you're going to tear anything in your knee, meniscus is likely the best case scenario. You aren't losing as much knee stability during recovery like you would an ACL or MCL, and it generally recovers faster than those ligaments.

The Bears made Krenzel a 5th round pick. My God.

McElroy was a 7th rounder.

Likely would give them a Top 5 draft position for ‘25. They can go after an offensive game changer (if there is one)
Idk, they won 7 games with Nick Mullen and Josh Dobbs last year on their way to earning the 11th overall pick. Darnold couldn't possibly be worse than those two.

You're right, as a Lions fan that offense and game was scary with Nick Mullens throwing it - they shouldn't be hunting a top pick. I'm not sold Darnold is terrible, that Jets/Panthers combo with where they were at kills most careers - and San Fran. still brought him in after.

I don't mean to split hairs, but they were 4-3 with Kirk, then they went 3-6 with the combination of Dobbs and Mullens. I really love Aaron Jones, as a player and a human, but I can't remember a time when he played a full season, if ever.

The Vikings aren't winning 7 games this year, with or without McCarthy. Idc how good their weapons are, Darnold doesn't make them a threat at all.

Anddddddd Addison carted off of the field today with a leg injury, rumor is ACL...brutal day for the Vikings

Edit: not thought to be serious, despite the carting off if the field.

I have a conflict of interest in this. The Bills have the Vikings second round pick via Houston, part of the Stefon Diggs trade.

I’d love for the Bills to have two picks in the Top 35-40 without moving around their own draft capital.
