Damn guys, can’t believe we passed on JJ McCarthy.

Holy hell man, he looks like Deshaun Watson!

Is he going to go up in the ratings? I am starting to trust the QB ratings.

For serious. Imagine Ian Book trying to make that first throw. I'm not sure he would start next, year but I'm not sure he wouldn't.

We'll never know if he can start either, apparently Top 100 247 Composite QB Phil Jurkovec isn't ready a year and a half into his tenure at ND, and it doesn't look like we'll get to see him anytime soon. If Phil can't beat out Book, as badly as he's playing, nearly 2 years into his time at ND, then I'd say Buchner would for sure come in here and start next year.

HAHAHAHA.

You don't think they can ruin Buchner too? If you can ruin Phil, you can ruin anyone.

After alllll of the pain and suffering I (and all of you) have gone through during recruiting the past years, whether it be losing a recruit due to de-commitment or just a "5 Star" coming in and not developing as we thought, i have REFUSEDDDDDD to put all my hopes into one player.

Welp, Here I am..... Tyler Buchner is a MUST KEEP for this class. He just looks different! Talent (throwing and running, but especially throwing), Intelligence, Leadership. Just the all around STUD we need. Of course I am no professional scout, but all of his tape stands out to me. Once he gained confidence after his previous injury, he has since been unstoppable. Unsure of competition, but also, I don't really care!

THIS KID IS THE ONE!

(I know i'm committing a cardinal sin by allowing myself to do this, so chastise me as you will haha)

I have to agree with others here. I think this guy will end up being near the top of this 2021 class. He may be the best QB in the country and a top 10 player in this class. He has all the tools it seems. We cant blow this one, right?

Was it just me or was he constantly under pressure in that vid? Seems like they ran a ton of screens and quick hitters. Kid seems to have the swagger of a winner, that it factor, something it seems like our guys have lacked seemingly since Clausen and Brady before him. Hope CBK doesn't suck the life outta this dude, I don't think even he can mess this one up.

He is the QB we need to finally compete for a national championship. Recruiting the rest of the positions and development need to follow suit.

This is great and all, but I had the same feels for PJ. Before we get all excited, I'd like to see if TB can at least read the correct play card on the sidelines.

Not sure PJ showed the same kind of promise. He was surely considered a GREAT prospect, but i definitely remember people questioning his passing and surely questioning his technique.

To me, Tyler is as close to the perfect QB prospect as we have seen at ND

That Jimmy kid was a pretty highly rated QB...

Is there anyone coming at him hard that we should be leery of to hold off? Does he seem pretty rock solid.. I am guessing the insiders know! Get him on campus ASAP.

He apparently told Michigan (where he was once committed to play lacrosse) and Stanford to go pound sand, according to a recent profile in The Athletic. I’d always sweat USC for SoCal kids though. Especially if they get an ambitious new coach. Do they have a ‘21 QB yet?

So, should we start taking odds on who it is he flips to???
