I don't get info from "sites." I talked to someone who was doing the back channeling with these players/their camps on behalf of ND before they hit the portal. Take it or leave, there is a lot I can't share for obvious reasons (chief of which being that I was asked not to).

With Leary, I was told that it was "unlikely" to happen for some specific reasons. There was absolutely interest and contact from both sides. And stuff changes! But I expect Card to be the guy if they can get the graduating-or-not-graduating thing worked out. Note how multiple "sites" have oscillated between he's-a-grad-transfer-no-wait-he's-not-OK-actually-he-is over the past few days.

Is it really that hard for your to fathom that one might be both:
  • critical of his performances
and
  • critical of his decision to leave his team high and dry BEFORE a bowl game when NOT doing so would have been just as easy and have had virtually zero negative impact on his ability to do so AFTER said bowl game
?

Must be very difficult for you navigating the complexities of the human condition with such a narrow cognitive scope. I would say I feel bad for you, but really I just feel nothing for you at all.

If he's not worthy of playing football beyond the "intramural level," why do you give a fuck whether or not he plays in a bowl game? Talk about a narrow cognitive scope. Completely lacks common sense based on your own hot takes.

How many other QBs have already entered the portal? He would be doing himself a disservice if he didn't enter when he did. He's looking for an opportunity to start somewhere else. Try to wrap your brain around that, you miserable SOB.

I don't think the Texas bowl game will affect his decision. However, if what the board is correct in that we are waiting for Pratt, Tulane's bowl game might affect Card's decision.

You're missing my point entirely -- SHOCKER -- that I can both not want him to be our QB1 and think he's a bitch for how he handled the situation.

If you think him entering the portal now vs. December 31 is the difference between him getting a spot or not then you're just as delusional as he and his family are. He's not NOT GUY.

Just out of curiosity, exactly how short was your school bus?
