I saw a story (maybe with 247 Josh Pate) that in order for ND to have a great season that Greathouse & Rico or one of them had to have a breakout season.

I disagree that they need to have a "breakout" season, but get them on the field so they are better for next season & have a bigger role. I think both will see PT. We saw what Greathouse did with Hartman at the B&G game. Our WR's are going to benefit big with having Hartman as our QB this year.
I could kind of tell that he didn't know much about Notre Dame this season. He said the storylines are Mills being over 300 pounds and the freshmen receivers needing to have breakout seasons. Didn't say a word about Hartman, the running backs, the Alt/Fisher combo, etc.

From a national media standpoint, Notre Dame is laying low in the weeds. I hope it stays that way.

He has talked about ND about a dozen times already & has talked about all those players.
This segment was about fall camp whispers, which was about things he is hearing from a team specifically at camp. That’s why he mentioned those players.

He certainly could be but I don't think that would be the best outcome for our team. It would mean Colzie's not living up to his significant potential, which he started to flash towards the end of last season.
I agree & I think Colzie will see field more this year. I was excited to see him at the B&G game this year, but his QB was Buchner. He did show flashes at the end of last season and I think he has potential.

Flores making catches against Mickey and repping against Hart. That’s either a coincidence, or he’s moving up the depth chart and repping with the 1’s.

No reason why the Freshman shouldn’t see the field they should be on the field a ton to get ready for Ohio State get Flores and Greathouse and James in the game. I think a QB like Hartman whose gonna spread it around is gonna be very beneficial compared to Pyne who tried to throw to Mayer 90% of the time

I honestly thought he showed he lacks the potential many thought including myself… yes he had a couple good catches second half of last year, but he couldn’t get any separation vs man. Hope I’m wrong

The intensity is noticeably increased today. Maybe that's because pads are on? Some really good things on both sides of the ball in this clip.

The Jayden Thomas catch at :23 might've been a famous Sam Hartman back shoulder.

Flores beat Mickey again in 1v1. Mickey then beats Flores in a different drill and starts talking mad shit lol.

I don't use Twitter/X really but to see some of our reporters posts and shit, but wtf kinda dogshit is that site now. I clicked on Sampson's tweet above and when I go to his page it shows me his tweets in order of most likes and not chronological. WHY WOULD I WANT TO SEE TWEETS FROM 3 YEARS AGO. Twitter was already garbage due to the people and principle of it and not to get political or some bullshit but how did Musk manage to make it worse?

I guess what I'm really saying is keep posting the tweets here for me cause I'm not going to be digging around that shithole site for them myself.

The increased blue chip ratio is starting to pay its dividends. The competitive culture + increased talent in the 2’s & 3’s is really showing itself lately and has me juiced.

Increased competition across the depth chart instead of just at the 1’s makes everyone better. More buy-in from a higher percentage of the roster and expedites the development of the talented young guns.

Loving the intensity in these videos. some physical play and drills, some chirping going on, and teammates getting hype when their brothers win a rep.

Freeman senses the moment. He knows this is a pivotal year. Who wouldn't want to play for that man?
