These guys are good. The Rivals crew was here last night covering Baker at his teams Showcase, obviously getting his commitment story polished up.

I look forward to seeing how they progress.

Is he scheduled to commit tomorrow?

No "scheduled" commitment at this time. Most believe his commitment could come at any time this week. We should probably let the kid have his moment, seems fair.

Not trying to take his moment away. Just asking if he has set a commitment date.

Not directed at you, it’s the worst kept secret out there, but we could at least do our best to respect his timeframe. No need to ruin a kids moment.

Roman Wilson, Jordan Botelho's teammate at St. Louis Catholic went off yesterday at the Opening Oakland.

6-0/175 ... 4.37-40 ... 3.97 Shuttle ... 39" Vert = 124+ Total

Jr stats: - 32 rec ... 800 yds ... 7 TD ... 25 yd per catch.

Runs in the 10.6's in the 100m. That's AJ Henning fast... well 2 yr ago AJ fast.

Watch his film and compare it to Will Fuller and Kevin Stepherson's HS tape.

Polian started following this weekend

Appears to be a flyer.

Do you know how they test the 40 at the Opening?

I googled but couldn't find anything.

New BGI Podcast with Mike Singer and EJ Holland. It’s pretty good stuff on recruiting. Mentioned that Quinn has been all over the place in the last two weeks.

.9416 4* Michael Carmody - tons of FutureCasts put in for him. I think ND is gonna be tough to beat if they go all out for him. Quinn has visited him
.9252 4* Geirean Hatchett - I had him as a nontarget because of his lack of interest and then all of the sudden ND is making his top 5 and he’s planning an OV to ND (probably summer). Long shot but you never know
.9207 4* Zak Zinter - Quinn just in to visit him. Coming back for a 4th visit in 9 months. He was my guess for the next OLine commit and I thought he’d reserve a spot as an interior OLineman but not sure he’s ahead of Hatchett and Atteberry.
.8863 3* Reece Atteberry - OSU/ND battle culminating in two June visits. Quinn our to visit him recently.

I think ND gets clarity on their OLine class on or right after the June 22nd weekend visit from Atteberry, Zinter, and maybe others that weekend. Honestly Carmody and then any one of the three interior guys would be awesome. Also, ND visited Gentry and they are still pushing for him as an FYI. We’ll see if they could beat out BYU cause he’s be good for that 247 Team Rankings score

Just as an FYI. ND has 23 OV’s scheduled so far per 247. Only Oklahoma has a close 2nd with 20+. ND and Oklahoma are the two flagbearers for early recruiting with these OV’s.

I would imagine we are always at or near the top for OV's, no? Like always being able to say you have an offer from ND, I think visiting ND is part of the bucket list for some of these kids.

DeaMonte Trayanum will not OV to ND at this time, unless something changes with ND's RB board.

Loy just CB’ed Zinter to Michigan. Basically telling us with his CB’s that it’ll be Carmody and Atteberry for the last two spots. I’m doubtful Hatchett even makes it to ND which is why I’m thinking it’ll be Atteberry.

I'll take it . . .but poor zinter has to go to that shit hole. He should go to BCU with Kevin Pyne.

I’ll call Zinter and tell him if he avoids Dance majors then Miami is actually a solid school and he could start soon cause their OLine talent sucks

Lol they don’t do school at the U. But if ur one of the guys who’s serious about a certain major then it is a good school. Same thing with Michigan, USC, and UNC and others. The problem with those schools is you also have the option to take Pottery, Dance and Home Ec and that’s enticing to 17/18 yr old kids. The crazy thing is some of the programs at certain schools have more strict academic restrictions. Like the swim team, who my girlfriend swam for, had recruits they couldn’t take because of academic restrictions and the coach apparently complained saying football takes NCAA minimum qualifiers and yet the swim team had to reject some borderline olympians because of solid grades but not excellent. It reminds me of Georgetown men’s basketball who takes kids who can’t read to goood lol but the rest of their school is borderline Ivy League.
