The system is different because he inherited a roster with a bunch of h-back tweeners, and he refuses to put enough effort into recruiting to flip the roster more quickly.

He’s trying to run a power spread, but that only works if you’ve got a good OL and a QB that can take advantage of all the space you create with max protection... UCLA has neither right now. DTR’s hands must be the smallest in the world.

Frost has been a hot shot coach for awhile, but Nebraska has been disappointing pretty much ever since they joined the B1G. They expect more improvement, but it may still be a few years away I would wager. They probably screwed the pooch when they let go of Pelini

Sure MN should have won easier.... but SDSt isn't horrible. They've averaged 9-11 wins over the last several seasons IIRC. They're the only team close to NDSt the last couple years.

SDSU is solid generally. Last year's team would have won tonight.

At the FCS level they usually go 8-3ish with a loss to P5 and a loss to NDSU. They've beaten NDSU a couple times lately as well.

Minnesota.... is Minnesota. Nobody has won there in like 50 years.
