I'm a Bo Nix fan for life after that fourth down scramble. It was the only thing he could do with all the receivers covered, but a true frosh in his first game against the no. 11 team? Absolutely beautiful.

Stanford/Duke/Northwestern/Carolina all looked improved even though Duke got hammered by the pros think of how much fun this would be if the power 3 didn't have all the top 200 kids. I guess the 'free' free ride is starting to show.

Hurts looking good so far. 13/15, 2 TDs, and 128 yards on the ground with another TD.

I was wondering how he'd translate to OK style O. Great so far. Hard to not to cheer for the kid after the way he handled the Bama situation.

I want Oklahoma to deflate, I want to see them against a quality offense and defense. This Houston defense is porous, slow and really poor at tackling.

That is the understatement of the millennium. You could glue wheels to a tackling dummy and duct-tape the ball to his hands and it would probably go for a 70 yard touchdown against Houston.

They were beyond horrendous last year, when they had one of the best DT's in the country.

Watching Oklahoma play is a good reminder that in cfb if your QB can throw an bubble screen, you are 70% of the way to having a top 25 offense.

I can't wait for the Oklahoma team to meet a good team. It's a shame that Jalen Hurts had 2 tries at putting the ball into the endzone and he clearly didn't succeed either time. The officials said he did twice. BS!
Here we go with the Hurts for Heisman BS!

Hurts 20/23, 332, 3TDs passing, and 16 for 176 and 3 more TDs rushing is pretty damn impressive in the transition.

I disagree. Stanford, Duke and Northwestern all look worse than last season.

I get it was Alabama, but Bama was down several key players on defense and they still couldn't move the ball an inch. Harris was a substantial downgrade from Jones.

Stanford and Northwestern combined to try and upstage Miami-Florida for ugliest game of this early season. Hunter Johnson was a total bust. Costello was missing Arcega-Whiteside in the worst way. Both offenses were offensive.

UNC was definitely a major upgrade. Good start to the Mack Brown era Part II.

Oklahoma hires new defensive coordinator to shake the perception they're a team not just built for offense.

Gives up 31 points to an AAC team in Week 1.
