holy cow. 1.7 left, down two, and they foul behind the arc...
Really good game. That kid has some balls making the last 2 free throws after he missed the first. My nerves would have gotten to me.
Also I think Tennessee got screwed a little with the time left on the clock when they took the timeout.

great game.
refs have had some bad moments
kids on both sides are fighting like hell.
painter finally going to get through? he's 0-4 at this level.
Looks like he will move on to the Elite 8.

Boilers have a grit to them. It would have been easy to fold their tents once UT went ahead. They picked the defense back up in OT and started switching in OT which got the Vols out of sync. Good move by Painter.
My best friend from Indy is a PU fan. My phone was blowing up all night. You would think it was Christmas.
PU not only got help from their star tonight, they had some kids really step up.
Stoked for PU, but they screwed my bracket. Had UT in the FF.
Michigan for the most part played like hot garbage and Tech looked great last night in the second half. That one will hurt my bracket.
The halftime scores for both of the second games made you wonder if anyone was going to break 50.
For an old Indiana hooper, yesterday was glorious.
Painter channeled is best inner Keady - (WOW, Keady looks OLD)
Chris Beard channeled his best Bobby Knight - was on staff with the General and Pat for a decade.
Tony Bennett is the man. - Played & coached against him in college. One year, we had a half time score of 16-12 at their place so a low scoring first half doesn't surprise me. He learned well from his Dad, who fashioned his game 100% after Bobby Knight. Tony's sister was also HC a Evansville and then IU.
F*** Michigan but I love Beilein. - No Indiana connection here but I have a recruiting letter from him when he was at LeMoyne. Yes, I'm old.
During one of the broadcasts last night they showed the Top 3 defensive teams in the country:
UVa = 55 ppg
TT = 57 ppg
UM = 58 ppg
More of this please.
Yep, I remember the background on all of those. I didn't say those games were bad, but TBH, not all of that was great D. Those teams were slow to get into their offenses and when the shot clock winds down that defense gets tighter. scUM also had several unforced errors in the first half.
I think Purdue's cutting and screening will give UVA some problems.
Am I the only one who thought the ball went out on Edwards with 2.5 seconds to play?
Also, I have to wonder, why in the heck would Barnes not have doubled Cline as soon as the shot clock hit 6 seconds to force the ball out of his hands on the one three pointer late that tied it up. Everyone watching knew he was going to shoot and hit from anywhere in the building. He was that on fire and would have been the last person I'd have let get a shot up at that point in the game.

Auburn is shooting lights out behind the arc
