Why is she complaining? A the time Muschamp hadn't even been considered for a HC position. The Carolina job was all but given to Smart at that point. So Muschamp is going to tell her he is leaving or will leave IF the opportunity arises. Maybe he should have told her... don't let your son sign with Auburn... wait till I get a HC position elsewhere. Get out of here.

She should just be thankful that the check from Ole Mi$$ cleared in time for Christmas. She is getting EXACTLY what she wants.

Muschamp called Mom and explained that he had no interest in any of the HC positions when he last talked with her.

Mom said that she talked with Malzahn who told her he was "blindsided" when Muschamp left for South Carolina.

No doubt.

Lol @ Ole Miss's recruiting classes vs. results.

Agree. I thought it was a stupid complaint.

People with kids that are highly recruited have to have a pretty good idea that there is always a possibility a coach is going to leave within the 3-5 years a kid might be at a school.

Sounds like this pipe dream will not come true. Will decide his last OV between OSU, Bama, Clemson or Georgia.

Given he's already visited Michigan, Gary, the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2016 recruiting class, only has one more official visit available. Who is still in the mix for that final spot?

"It's more than one, I'm afraid to say," Jennifer Coney, Gary's mother, told cleveland.com. "I want to say Notre Dame, Kentucky, Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia ...

First of all, I hope you will all join me and say that one Coney in the program is not enough.

Secondly.... All the Mama's! I think ND signs more Mothers than any school in the country.

That article is from Nov 20...

I get a little of a mother trying to run and control the process and mother doing what's best for her son. She will have a major say in which school he attends.

nothing happened.

by no means a silent. I think Michigan getting a ton of kids from NJ this cycle helps, having some former PC teammates there helps, and having his former PC Coach there helps, but no means a slam dunk. SEC could still snatch him away.

Michigan is an over-whelming favorite at this point, but I just feel like if he was going to commit to Michigan he'd have done it by now. I don't like being the over-whelming favorite all year for a high-profile recruit then having to wait to NSD. Those type of recruitments rarely if ever work out in Michigan's favor. I can't remember the last one that did.

Still not as bad as what Anthony Barr did to ND.

Don't remember this story. Elaborate?

I don't think it's anything. Everyone just assumed Barr was coming here but he always wanted to stay in Cali and was very close with Neuheisel and his son. A lot of people believed he was never going to leave Cali.

Lawrence and Gary together in the middle of a defense would be absolutely terrifying.

Having said that, ND doesn't play Clemson until 2020, and both of those guys will be gone by then, so I say make it happen.

Unfortunately still think he heads to scUM, unless Clemson blows this out of the water.

Still hoping he pulls a Da'shawn Hand though

Only way ND to face Clemson until then is playoffs correct? They can't be in a bowl together lower than that due to the conference agreement I think.

We will ever see him regardless unless we play U of M in a bowl game.
