This seems about right. Morgan won’t get drafted, but I bet he makes a team.

I'll take him on the Bears. I'm thoroughly underwhelmed with their corp. Bring him up with Smith. I see it working and he'd be easy on the cap.

ESB could slide until the 5th. Hope he finds a suitable landing spot. Teams left in fourth either have chosen WRs or do not have the need. Doesn't mean they see value or there are trades up. Indy at 5(3) needs a WR.

Can't find the NC State game thread, but after the 4th NC State DL was drafted Todd McShay said "I'm not sure how anyone scored any points on them" and it just cracks me up because we ran for 300+ on their asses.

After that game I was convinced we were going to the playoffs and Adams was going to be a heist an finalist. Then November hit...

I'm surprised too but he has only had 3 100+ yard receiving games in his whole career. He's super raw.

Maybe being out there with his dad self promoting a la that jackhole Ball hasn’t helped him. Seldom have I seen someone come out with a worse junior year than sophomore year (Kiser excluded I guess). Both made ill informed decisions imo. Can’t believe how many other WRs I haven’t heard of are going ahead of him. I can only hope the third time isn’t a charm with Amon since we will have to see that 3-4 years in a row.

Was not impressed in that interview when St. Brown's dad basically threw Wimbush under the bus. Sure, BW could have been (a lot) better, but ESB has plenty to work on himself. I guess he'd rather do it in the NFL than at Notre Dame, which is his call. But the idea that he was going to be a 2nd or 3rd round pick always seemed like a stretch.

Kelly can use his story as a cautionary tale to other dreamers. I think Kelly has supported a handful of players coming out early but I doubt he gave that advice to ESB. From what I have seen from Claypool and Boykin they will both hav3 better years than ESB and eventually will be drafted ahead of the 7th round. Too bad cause he had a pretty cool name. Sorry if I hope his two bothers also underachieve.

Surprised that Adams has that kind of year on the big stage with little passing game support and lesser backs imo are coming off the board left and right. Maybe people thought anyone could run behind that line. If that’s the case shame on Kelly for not giving Dexter more opportunities last year. I doubt his draft stock would have been any higher after another year. Crazy he was in the top 5 Heisman candidates midway thru the season and now nothing. He can block and catch passes and would be great in some systems like Pittsburgh.

I'm surprised ESB hasn't been drafted. He's 6'4" and has speed. You're not drafting a complete player at this point, but he's got some stuff to work with.

Unfortunately, Josh Adams going undrafted wouldn't surprise me. I said half way through the season Dexter Williams will end up being drafted earlier than Adams, and perhaps more people will agree then that BK screwed the distribution of thost carries up.

But Adams just needs to stay healthy. It doesn't matter so much if he's drafted because he's good enough to get a try out. If he stays healthy he's got a few year career IMO.

Kelly started screwing up ball distribution when he kept giving the ball to Cam McDaniels instead of Tarean Folsten. Another guy who should have stayed for his final year.

I suspect Adams’ injury history - which is the same reason he was right to go out early - is scaring some teams off. Also, while he’s patient, and has great acceleration, he got stoned a lot of times by the better defenses we played last year. But he’ll get a shot somewhere.

A lot of players had nagging injuries, his only serious one was in high school, which he obviously fully recovered from.

IMO, is has nothing to do with injuries, and everythint to do with the fact that the has no agility, and isn't a Derrick Henry type talent where he can get away with not being agile

I think it's more a byproduct of his running style. He had one of the most dominant lines in front of him and he didn't show much wiggle. He has straight line speed.

I hate playing this game but if we had Sony Michel or Guice, they would've likely had 2k yards in our offense. Don't even want to consider what Barkley would've done.

I love Adams, always thought he was a high character guy but his game doesn't translate to the pros. I hope he gets a chance with someone to prove me wrong.

This is my exact opinion as well. I'd love to be wrong.

Truly wish he would have come back for one more year, but not sure he would have improved his draft stock anymore given his running style. The OL will likely take a bit of a step back, so his numbers likely would not have improved. Risking injury as well. IMO leaving was the best chance at $$. Whatever happens, I'm wish him well and all the luck in the world!

ESB on the other hand, could have improved his stock drastically if BW gets it together. I think he lucked out landing with Rogers, but the initial payday could have been bigger, and he could have learned/matured more with another year. This one will be interesting I think.
