Lev Bell's Steelers career is officially over. Good luck getting a better offer than what you were offered this summer. I think he would do well in Chicago, but they probably can't afford him. I'm excited for the 3rd round comp pick though.

Good day for Indy. Statement Div win over Tenn who just beat the Pats. Indy getting better every week.

And bonus Cinci going down to help Indy's Wild Card chances. Jags going down in the Div also a small help. Would have loved for Houston to drop that one to Wash.

What a crazy game. You look at the score and think the Rams didn't play any defense, yet they got 5 turnovers. I wouldn't mind watching this again in February, but I think the Saints will have something to say about that.

Last I read the Rams were a 3.5 point favorite with the Over/Under at 63.5. Ha!!

Patrick Mahomes threw for 478 yards and six TDs. Jared Goff threw for 413 yards and 4 TDs. Lining up Aaron Donald over Cam Erving paid dividends, though lining him up against anyone is a mismatch. Two turnover TDs caused by Donald is crazy and the difference in the game. KC's Houston and Bailey combined for a turnover TD. That pass by Mahomes to Hill - thrown 60-70 yards in the air? Can anyone stay with Hill?

Mexico lost a great game and a lot of money. Now we play on the same surface, which will probably still be warm.

Big thanks to the Browns for knocking off Cinci on the road and getting the Colts a spot closer to the Wild Card.

Now if the Dolts can just wake up and beat Miami...

For all non-Bengals fans, yes, the owner is also the President and the GM of the team. Let that sink in for a second....

And now you understand why Marvin Lewis has been retained and Hue Jackson is back on the coaching staff. When that fucking cheap skate isn't trying to buttfuck the County and the City, he's diving into his vault of gold coins like Scrooge McDuck.

I bet he didn't even have an idea about the embarrassment that was going on at field level. I would bet a generous portion of my life savings that he was napping in the suite, or reading a magazine.

It was honestly astonishing that they fired Teryl Austin mid-season. Mike Brown doesn't approve a contract and then NOT get every penny out of it, even if the results are detrimental to the franchise.

Also of note:

Everyone is starting to hear rumors locally that his daughter is taking over next year or the year after, and she's going to lead a sale/bid to move the team to London when the team's lease is up on Paul Brown Stadium in 2026. The NFL wants a team in London, but it will likely take several years to get everything in place. The timing would probably work out well, if that's the route Brown and his daughter go.

The team recently decided to NOT veto a local construction project near the stadium (which they would've squashed immediately, in years past), and also reworked the lease so that Hamilton County does NOT have to pay them ~$20M over the next few years (which is a price they would've tried to inflate, in years past).

The only explanation for the team deciding to NOT totally screw the taxpayers and the city is that they're simply trying to cut as many ties as they can over the next few years before the big move.

Fuck billionaires.

Not even sure how a team in London could begin to compete given how brutal their travel schedule would be.

Haven't the "katie is taking over" rumors been around for years? I seem to remember that being the battle cry back when I still lived up there. Then it never happens...

The whole London rumor is interesting to say the least.

The whole London rumor is interesting to say the least.

Several talking-heads in the local sports market have mentioned it, and I've heard it as a possibility from some other people that are 'behind the scenes' in different professions in the city.

Ultimately, I doubt it happens, because I think Mike Brown is both too vain and too much of a coward to try and move the franchise forward, and he will instead serve until his health no longer allows him to do so, at which point it will be too late to make the move to London. I also think there are better situations that London would be looking for in terms of the team they are bringing in.

I believed the idea was for them to play 8 straight weeks at home and then 8 straight weeks in the US.

Personally, I think it's stupid. Saturday is for the Boys, Football is for America, and these colors don't run!

Good points.

It might cost him money to move the team and he might have to pay more taxes in the UK than he does in SW OH.

Fairly significant game tonight for the Wild Card. KC, NE, Pitts, and LA Chargers would seem to be in. Houston, too, at this point. One spot left?

If Houston loses tonight, Tenn is 6-5 with Baltimore and Indy also at 6-5. Houston could severely damage the hopes of Indy (next week) and Cleveland (following week) - or losing to both would put them at 7-6 with the first Wild Card position opening up. Tenn would then have three win teams - Jets, Jaguars, and Giants - up next. Titans would seem to have the easiest route.

Denver (5-6) is my dark horse. Win against Cincy (5-6) next week and they have San Fran (2-9), Cleveland, Oakland (2-9), and the Chargers in the last week. If LAC is in, they may rest their starters.

Baltimore has KC and LAC on the schedule. Houston wins tonight though and there is probably just one Wild Card spot left. Tenn would be 5-6 with Cincy, Miami, Denver, with Cleveland (4-6-1) just behind.

If you are Baltimore or Indy, you probably want a Houston win. Baltimore with tough games and possible losses to KC and LAC would open up the way to the last Wild Card spot for Indy.

I hate the whole UK thing. They should start a separate small euro league of like 8 teams, and if successful, do a realignment to add them in later.

If they move a team, it should be Pitt.
They could call them the Big Bens
