It's not like I just suddenly declared that GoIrish was being uncivil. His incivility was only a matter of pointing out pkt's hypocrisy in calling me uncivil and classless. So what, I called someone a name? You do it all the time as well. So does GoIrish, pkt, wizards, and most of us who are passionate in our viewpoints.

You didn't just call him a name.
You are leaving out the part where you told him to STFU. Quite convenient of you.

1. You have an awful lot to say to me, for a guy who is done responding to me.

2. Obviously telling him to STFU is not a legally binding directive, so "what difference does it make now?"(that's a reasonable answer, right?)

Do you REALLY have this much sand in your vagina, that being told to STFU on a message board is some kind of heinous thing?

Time for something hopefully we can all smile at, though this kind of "gaffe" could happen to anyone.

I finally found something I agree with Trump on...

We definitely need to be pouring more money on the titties in Detroit.

Nope. And this is the state of political discourse in America.

As usual, you resort to personal attacks. Maybe you should take a break from the political threads, since you can't seem to respond to people without personal attacks.

Just because you are on a message board, doesn't mean that you should treat people like shit. In fact, it disappoints me though doesn't surprise me that you believe that.

No... as usual, I am plain and blunt in my assessment of your attitude. You have a lot to say about calling names and making things personal.........................

to those who hold views that differ from yours. But when it comes to other liberals, you don't seem to care much.

There is little civility in this hyper partisan political world. If people refuse to see the other side as human beings worthy of respect instead of just an enemy, we will quickly lose control of our future. Both sides vilify the other and consequently nothing can be done.

Whiskey and I had a graduate-level debate two days ago. We leave the thread for 48 hours and these guys turn it into a kindergarten poop-slinging fight. SMH.

at least Detroit titties brought them back together for the most part...

Both are entertaining...

maybe we could have a Thunderdome thread where mods lock combatants until they hate it out (for our entertainment), and then be let back in when they kiss and make up...works for my kids...shrug.

There would be a few stone cold jack-holes who would never be let out of that thread...

Great Idea!!!!

I wouldn't go that far. That was more like that scene in Goodwill Hunting. You were that long haired prick trying to sound smart in a towny bar. Then Whiskey (Will) got his hand forced and he had break you off with a library card worth of knowledge beatdown. Then walked out with your chick's number.

lol. This Trump character ...

I couldn't help but chuckle at the "Ronald Reagan is the founder of al-Qaeda" line though.
Seriously? The mainstream Left has been saying George Bush created ISIS for years.

Sorry, George W. Bush, but this whole mess is still your fault - Salon.com

I'm not sure I get the point?

First, as the article I linked recognizes, George W. Bush did create the conditions that spawned ISIS; Obama didn't.

Second, the articles you linked use the term "create," not "found." The comedy for me comes from Trump's use of the word "found." Neither George W. Bush nor Obama nor any American was at all involved in the "founding" of ISIS. There was no Raqqa Tea Party or Paul Revere's Ride through Raqqa, or wherever al-Zarqawi was.

True, there is a serious and arguably fair point to be made that Obama's reluctance to intervene in Syria allowed ISIS to strengthen. (It's not my view; I'm just saying I understand that some serious people might hold that view.) But he did not "found" ISIS, or really even have anything to do with "creating" it or the conditions that spawned it.
