Okwara surprises me, hopefully he's smart and picks a camp where de is lacking and truly needed. Opposite of what davaris did by picking Vikings who signed fa and drafted wr already.

Would like to see Romeo join Jaylon in Dallas. They have needs for DE's. Send Chris Brown there as well. Didn't both of them play in the Senior Bowl, where Dallas coaches were in charge of a team?

Sorry. I missed that part. I have seen Gronkowski's team next year as a PFA. Any idea when the lists of those players will become public knowledge?

Jalin Marshal not selected. Same with safety Powel from OSU. Both were juniors.

I'd give the Browns a C+,...

Day one they were just okay, second day was a nightmare, made up for it with some really nice picks in the later rounds.

I'd give the Giants a B+ to A- and I am usually pretty hard on them. The Apple pick wasn't great but it wasn't horrible. However, they pretty much nailed every pick after that. Got a bunch of guys that could start this year. Picked up a TE and RB late that were considered top 5 at the position by many experts. Overall I love what they did.

I don't see why you hate day 2 so much. Other than the QB pick, I think they had a pretty good day 2.

Love the Higgins and Scooby pick day 3!

According to ISD, I don't know if he was signed technically like every other UDFA. They're saying he was invited to the Giants camp as a tryout player.

That might be the case. I just know he is going to be with the Giants next.

I don't pay a lot of attention to the NFL except for the Bears and who they are playing but I hope the Patriots sign ASU's DJ Foster. They will know how to use that kid. I cannot believe he went undrafted. I thought he was going to be the next Thurman Thomas coming out of high school and looked to be on his way to that until last year when he moved to WR only and it just didn't work out.

Hell, they need help at QB for the first 4 games. Can he play QB?

No offensive/defensive lineman picked up via draft pick doesn't concern you?

If their depth is stored up on both lines I could see it, but it's still surprising to see a team ignore the trenches via the draft.

It's takes a coach too. Several of them. Just sayin

Exactly. 5 First Round draft picks, AND arguably the best coach in college football(certainly one of the top 3 or 4), and they STILL didn't make the playoffs.

Making the playoffs in College Football is HARD. But some people seem to think that ND should be in them every year because........... well, ND!!

It doesn't concern me because they still have a ton of cap space and will sign some lineman after cuts and all that gets sorted out. The Giants had a lot of needs and addressed most of them with players that could potentially start day 1. They weren't going to draft a day 1 starter on either line unless they did it in Rounds 1 or 2 so I'm cool with how it played out.

This is correct. Ishaq didn't sign a UDFA contract. Those who do sign deals worth $1.6 million with very light 5 figures ($15,000) guaranteed.

Williams received a rookie camp tryout and receives no money.

It's tough for late round picks to make 53-man rosters, even more so for UDFA's. The odds are incredibly stacked against someone like Ishaq. He's virtually guaranteed not to make a team. 90-man training camp invite at best. I can't think of any ND players who went rookie try-outs and ever made a team.

Constant 10 win seasons, making that the rule as opposed to an exception is a start.

Dan Fox, no? Or was he instantly a UDFA after the draft?

UFDA, later promoted from the practice squad for a couple games. Now a free agent again I don't think he's ever played any snaps from scrimmage in the NFL.
