@AnnaHScout: Via @Rob_eDuck, Notre Dame will host a five-star LB in June ($) http://t.co/dHru0SOjdW

Any chance we just put in a call to Torrence Gibson?
Maybe it's just me but a month or so ago I wasn't real sure how this class was going to look come February. I felt we would meet our needs but didn't know if it would be that highly "ranked" per se.
The staff sure has lined itself up for a great haul at this stage. RB recruiting was looking poor for a while. Now we have Soso on campus with a lot of positive reviews. A couple others schedule for II if I am not mistaken. They seem to quickly have rebounded from the BB loss. Add in the two DT's and an assumed corner in the fold. Lots of time rest of year to really focus on the few remaining spots.
Things sure look good atm.
TJ said that the staff is currently working with a projection of 20 +/- spots for this class.
Is Sanders viewed as a possibility for an all purpose back? I'm judt wondering if the staff would only take 1 more RB but three more WRs (even if one of the WRs isn't Boykin who seems to be viewed as position-versatile).
We officially have 9 but really 10 with:
2 DT
1 LB
3 OL
2 WR
2 DB
We expect to add
1 QB
2-3 WR
1-2 RB
2 LB
1-2 DE
1-2 DB
Does that sound about right?
I think it's been said, and it definitely makes sense, that ESB, Newsome, and Ofodile could all three commit. I'm not sure if we would take 3 if it isn't that group but I suppose Boykin as a versatile jumbo WR potential TE could make the cut.
And, yes, I think that would limit it to 1 RB unless two elite guys wanted to come.
I'm curious how Baker would fit in, numbers-wise. Hypothetically, if Hilliard and Bilal or Massina (or Wallace) committed, would Baker be be a non-take? Or would he be a take, but perhaps he takes a DB or RB spot?
I think we have a good shot at that DE from Cal Poly.
