I wonder if she realizes you could replace "Johnny Football" with "Tim Tebow" in that tweet. People said the exact same things about Jesus of Gainesville and we all know how that worked out.

Tebow won in Denver and never got the chance in New York.

All you CLE fans, how would you feel about day one walking away with the guy you wanted early in the draft and a 1st next year and still pull Manziel on the 2nd pick?

For whatever it's worth, ESPN's New England beat man, Mike Reiss, is reporting he got some info late in the process that makes him doubt Niklas as a fit for Patriots/some teams and intimated it was character/intangible related. Usually a pretty fair reporter.

I really don't know about Manziel. He's a freak athlete, but hasn't really played QB. But I think the comparison to Tebow is misplaced.

Based on what? Never been in off the field trouble. By all accounts hes a great teammate and a hard worker. He liked to party, enter every single 20 yo college dude. Did he get a DUI i missed? Get caught with drugs? Have 6 baby mommas? The circus was created by his electrifying play, thats what the Browns need.

He had tons upon tons of red flags off the field. From blatant violations of NCAA rules in a dumb manner (that he somehow dodged major suspensions on) to getting kicked out of the Manning camp (which they then tried desperately to save face on) to on and on and on.

His immaturity and selfish behavior is a real thing.

Drafting that hot mess is a disaster in any round...

I was kinda disappointed that Pittsburgh didn't go with Dennard. But he still hasn't been picked yet so I wonder if teams aren't high on him.

I really like the Shazier pick though

I really hate that song 'I'm the man, I'm the man, I'm the man' that they keep playing.

I'd rather stare into the sun than listen to that.

Clowny took last season off, id be much more worried about something like that.

I'm not a Clark hater, but thought this was funny:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Clark's gonna commit and decommit from all 42 schools before manziel gets drafted</p>— Liam Murphy (@LiamMurphyy7) <a href="https://twitter.com/LiamMurphyy7/statuses/464593020776873986">May 9, 2014</a></blockquote>

The difference is the talent level. Clowney has the talent... does he have the work ethic? That's the only question with him. JFF needs a lot of work mechanic wise just to get on the field.

My 100 million to someone's 500 million that Johnny Football DOES NOT go in the 1st round. First come, first served.

Right, and people were very worried about that.

But Clowney also has freakish once-in-a-blue-moon physical traits that justify the risk. What does Manziel have?

I wasnt comparing the two players just giving an example of a red flag id care about.

He's small, bad arm, terrible footwork, bad decision making and a total freakin punk...... Sounds like a winner.

He has the strongest arm of all the QBs in this draft. Highest wonderlick score. Doesnt NEED a glove to throw spirals.

It is a concern with Clowney. But the difference is the talent level. Clowney can play in the NFL.... everyone pretty much agrees. JFF is questionable...talent wise. Big difference in risk factor.

You should hope your team picks him then. You can enjoy the next few years of him pouting, ticking off his team mates, and generally being a heck of a pain in the ass.

Did you read what i just wrote? I said im not comparing the two players just saying that a lack of work ethic would be something i would be worried about with Jff not partying. The work ethic thing doesnt matter with Clowney hes a monster.

Are all the relevant Bama picks off the board for now so I don't have to keep watching the NCG highlights?
