Doing this mock simulator is great and makes you realise how truly deep this draft class is and how many great players are going to end up as UDFA's

...Wow... the browns could actually be good if they drafted like this...that is some offensive fire power. But they won't... sorry ACamp

The amount of picks they have currently and the ability to trade down and make more leads me to believe that if this isn't the draft class for them to finally turn things around then they are truly doomed.

AJ McCarron told he'll be drafted as high as No. 16 in first round - NFL.com

im sorry but who da fuq gonna draft this guy in the 1st round??

He's getting bad info. I see no possible scenario where a team jumps him into the 1st round (which is a big jump).

That being said, if AJ is available in later rounds, I would be fine with the Bears grabbing him as a backup to Cutler. The kid is a fiery competitor, leader and flat out winner. He was never the star of the championship teams he led, but he sure as hell led them.

I think it's possible. Not likely, but possible. If there's an early run on QBs (e.g. 3 in the top 10, 4 in the top 15), teams needing a QB will not risk waiting until the end of the 2nd round to take the guy they want. It's slim pickings after the top 3 or 4 guys.

I think AJ ends up going in the first two rounds. I don't think he'll go in the 1st, but I'm not ruling it out. It just takes one team/GM to see something everyone else doesn't.

I can't imagine AJ will make it through the second round, but as others have noted if there's a run on QBs, he could definitely go first round. He's probably the 5th rated QB just looking around online, but I'm sure some teams have him ahead of Carr or Bridgewater. Hell, he's probably a safer bet than Manziel and Bortles too....

Brandin Cooks presents one of the more interesting dilemmas in this year's draft. With his elite speed he will be at the top WR on some team's boards, excluding Watkins. I have never been a fan of drafting a WR in the first round since many in the 2-5th turn out to be stars. I always believe the only time you grab a WR first round is when it's a "can't miss", and I use that term with caution. But this year's WR class is interesting. You have a group of guys in Evans, Cooks, Lee, Benjamin, and Beckham who are all very unique and have a different skill set.
I sadly am a Jets fan and it looks like they will try and snag one of these guys in the first round. Originally I was weary of grabbing Cooks because of his size, but as time has passed I love it. I know he is somewhat limited to being a slot guy with his size, but Cooks is an absolute burner. He made Sean Mannion look like a star last year and tore up Pac-12 secondaries.
Who knows what will happen as his size will be an issue at the next level, but I think he should be a stud.

That's a cool site. Deserves its own thread, imo.

I used the Walter Football option for my list. Pretty happy with the results.

14 DT AARON DONALD-PITTSBURGH
51 S DION BAILEY-USC
82 LB CHRISTIAN JONES-FLORIDA STATE
117 RB DE'ANTHONY THOMAS-OREGON
156 WR T.J. JONES-NOTRE DAME
183 ILB MAX BULLOUGH-MICHIGAN STATE
191 CB RICARDO ALLEN-PURDUE

Stoke level would be at 12 o'clock on this draft. Hit every area of need with really skilled players.

Side note, the computer cleaned up for the Steelers in my draft. They even reunited Tuitt and Lynch. ha!

Can't rep you right now but that would be quite the draft. You may have missed your calling as a GM, haha.

Also, as I'm going through and looking at all the mocks you guys are putting up. You can really tell how deep this draft seems to be with talent. For the teams that screw this draft up or miss on a few players it could hurt for years to come.

The Browns can really help themselves out this year. They have 2 first round picks and could get a stud in the 2nd and 3rd rounds because of how deep the draft is. If the figure it out, the AFC North will be stacked from top to bottom

I actually liked McCaron--until the Sugar Bowl. Once Oklahoma got pressure on him, he crumbled.

Yea, any team that has 4+ picks in the first 3rds. is in a great position with this draft. I like Atlanta's opportunity to build on what they have with two in the first.

Atlanta is in an ideal spot in the first round. They should be presented with two great options. They should be able to get either Matthews or Lewan with that pick, but I also see that pick being a spot where other teams may try to trade up to. If Bortles or Manziel go to the Browns at 4, there could be pressure for teams to try to trade up ahead of the Vikings. For a lack of a better phrase the Falcons just had a bad season. They're one or two pieces away from getting back into the deep playoff picture. But they are in position to capitalize with a strong OT with their first and a pass rusher with their second.

Jordan Raanan of the Newark Star-Ledger reports that the New York Giants aren't "aren't especially high" on UNC TE Eric Ebron. He suggests that his suspect hands and blocking ability are to blame, and says the Giants are "not overly impressed with his skills and overall package." For the record, Raanan has Notre Dame offensive tackle Zack Martin as the prospect most likely to go to New York with the No. 12 pick.

I'm saying the giants will never draft a TE earlier than the 3rd while Reese is the GM

Kiper has Pittsburgh taking Zach Martin

Your QB is the active sack leader in the NFL and was sacked 43 freaking times last year.

Why is drafting the best interior lineman in the draft "smh" worthy?

If wide receiver and corner back weren't such pressing needs, I'd be all for it. Antonio Brown is the only receiver that has proven anything, and Ike Taylor is probably a year or 2 from retirement.

The 43 sacks is a little misleading for the offensive line. Ben holds onto the ball for a long ass time, that's what makes him the quarterback that he is. When he holds onto the ball receivers get behind coverages and it turns into a big play, or he gets sacked lol.

I love Zach as a player and will be in the NFL for a long time, there are just bigger needs IMO

Actually Wooly, I guess it would matter who Pittsburgh gets with their 2nd and 3rd round picks. If they can get a guy like Jason Verrett in the 2nd and a good receiver in the 3rd, then I'd love the Zach Martin pick lol
