Shurburtt always seems to be taking shots in the dark. I wouldn't be surprised if this "prediction" is based solely on the perceived difference in momentum between SC and ND.

I can't believe how off I've been on Hollins and Fitts apparently. I follow the west coast schools' recruiting pretty hard, and I have both of these guys pegged for UCLA. And then a poster who is supposedly well connected on II says Hollins to ND, and JC has Fitts to ND. This is like bizarro world for me LOL.

I still don't see it, but man, these guys know more than me so I hope they are right.

I will make 2 predictions that I can almost guarantee: Neither Fitts nor EV will end up at USC, no matter what their fans tell you. Mark that in stone...

And Gerry Hamilton said UCLA citing weather and distance. JC also picked EV to go to SC and they both Powell to choose Florida. They are just throwing out guesses like anyone else is.

JCs predictions much like Farrells are worth very little IMO. Many times they do not correspond with what the reporters that are actually covering the recruit report

He's my favorite left on the board. You guys just let me be happy for an hour.

JC knows NOTHING more than any of us. I don't think he ends up here because I think ultimately we got in the race too late. I think he ends up at UCLA.

the key at this stage of the game is to hope that Farrell says that ND is getting no one left on our board come signing day...

I agree, Fitts and Vanderdoes have walked away from that program, and are not looking back. But will one or both end up in South Bend?

I think we end with Fitts and EV.

I still feel really good about Fitts especially with an in-home tomorrow. And if EV is really wanting a school with a family feel, early playing time, and academics then he already made his decision.

This class is great even if we swing and miss the rest of the way. I wouldn't trade this class for anyone else's

Im the opposite. When a recruit is texting Christian hymns while on a visit to one of the most Christian universities in the nation, one has to feel pretty good.

EV on the other hand, not so good. I think EV stays in Cali. Bama already has 3 DL with another one outside of EV ready to go. I dont see them having anything to offer him (other than more NCs) that other schools cant offer more of.

Mora is an idiot and will eventually **** everybody off. Check out his tenures in Atlanta (what his dad said about Vick and Washington being his dream job) and the mess he left in Seattle. He has a good qb right now but one season does not made a career. Ask Ty.

Didn't Kelly pretty much put the nail in his own coffin with his comments in regards to the NFL at his telepress the other day?

Like I said- whether or not it's true. Sure, he's saying all the right things now, but you never know what the future brings. That aside, it doesn't really matter what his true intentions are- other coaches would be foolish to not try to plant that seed of doubt into a kid's head.

Same will be said about BK, whether or not it's true.

Big differences IMO.

The big one is Mora is an NFL guy through and through. Much more likely to jump at a good NFL gig. Been a coach in the NFL from 1985-2009 and is still young.

BK said he wanted to answer the questions he has had and according to him, he did so its easier for him to turn down NFL teams who will come calling no matter what.

To a kid who isn't an ND fan it's not that simple. BK and Mora will both be talking to him, both saying that they aren't interested in leaving, both saying that the other guy is.
