There will be a whole article and everything when they update it
Marcus Forston, defensive tackle who, like Bratten and Perriman, stayed in his own backyard(the U).Everyone is going to be after this guy now. Have we ever recruited a kid out of Booker T. Washington?
Lolololololololol
RT @TigerBaitWill: Sister of top OT Cameron Robinson of West Monroe, transferring from McNeese to Alabama after avg 1.6 pts & 2.5 rebs.
Loving all of the weapons on offense coming in this class, now I just want the big guys upfront on the Dline to join in!
We already have four potential studs for the D line! What more do you want?
There will/should be more that join them though.
I hear what you're saying and while I agree to an extent, I too am concerned about the defensive line and secondary. Everything else is basically squared up or a solid foundation has been laid.
QB- Kizer check
RB- Hood check
OL- 4 studs check
TE- Weishar and lead for Luataua check
WR- Holmes and Brent check
Leaves a lot of questions on defense. Yes a foundation has been laid with Trumbetti and Hayes on the line but that's our biggest need. Front seven is key this year. Looking at the big board I can't point to anyone left and identify ND as the outright leader.
Holley- PSU/ND with visits coming
Thomas- will he leave Texas?
Elam- SEC leads whether it be Kentucky or Bama.
Lots of questions remain but a long way to go. Lets not forget it July.
We have 15 commits with the target being 24 depending on who you listen to. So, 9 spots left:
WR - 2
TE - 1 (with a decent chance Luatua moves to the defensive front seven if needed)
DB - 1-2 (not a huge need in this class)
The remaining 4-5 recruits will very likely be in the defensive front seven (DT, DE, OLB, ILB) to go along with the five guys we already have there (Trumbetti, Hayes, Bonner, Blankenship, Martini). That's 9-10 front seven guys in this class. Even if we only end up with eight, we're doing okay.
I know it's hard to pinpoint who those other 4-5 front seven guys are right now, but we're in play for about 15 guys at the moment. I like our chances of landing 4-5 to go along with the five we already have. IMO, Holley is the key as he's the only potential NT we have a good shot at right now (Elam will be UK in February, IMO).
I think if u mix probability of landing at ND, talent level, and need Holley is by far the most important prospect in this class.
Holley will be crucial for this class.
