He really does look like a tougher, stronger, more athletic player.
The biggest jump I see in players is between years 1 and 2...from a physical perspective.
For QBs, the difference between years 2 and 3 is usually pretty big in the mental / execution part. By that I mean things slow down for them...Even film room braniacs can look bad until things slow down on the field for them.
Based on what I've seen of TR...He was a year or so slow on the physical part, and he looked like some things finally slowed down for him last year as far as execution.
Soooo....
I think he's done "baking" physically, and from an execution perspective.
I don't think situations have ever been too big for him...he has the right demeanor.
We all know he won't threaten anyone with his feet...but he is a threat with reads and quick decisions...
I trust our O-line to establish the run game...
I trust our D to keep us in all games.
"Add" it all up, and I think if everyone executes around him...his "underwhelming mediocrity" could break some backs and hearts. It is his time...I hope he shines.
