Defense did a good job today

Held them to under 300 total yards thats always a goood thing.

pffft, you cant just bring in stats when half of the guys are dogging on half the defense, that is just too logical

I thought the ENTIRE defense played very well, quite a few missed tackles, but ill take that instead of simply be out-played. Every drive they had, you can point to a critical missed tackle that probably would have ended the drive.

Just to play devils advocate for a moment, Purdue was silly to play Terbush, and that may have cost them the game. Marve was clearly their best QB and should have stayed in the game (until hurt, of course).

I agree what was he thinking. Marve can move the pocket run when the pressure is on. That was odd coaching. But the Tackling is what up set me the most. There should be no reasons 3 people miss a tackle at once and let him gain another 10 yards.

I couldn't agree more. Bennett Jackson was solid. Elijah Shumate played well. Tuitt and Nix should get the game ball. Their pressure on the quarterbacks was the key to slowing down Purdue's passing attack.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him starting in a week.

Everyone I talk to seems to be mad about the Purdue game but I think they are a team with a legit shot at a 9 win season.
