2012 Fall Camp Thread

I subscribe to 247, but I've never posted there once. It is, without a doubt, one of the most embarrassing message boards I've ever seen - pay or otherwise. Sapp and the rest of the guys that work there are fantastic; I actually feel bad for them that part of their job is to roll around in the slop on the message boards.

Every board will have its seedy underbelly of posters. IE is no different, but the best posters here (of which I would say there are dozens) are so much better than what you get on most other boards that I have read. The 247 board is all seedy underbelly and almost no quality posts (except for a couple of the guys there that I recognize from here).

The post that prompted their reaction was a stupid post. It deserves to be criticized (and it was here, too). But it also wasn't from one of the main contributors here. I wouldn't sweat their criticism.

And thanks for bringing up 247's board. I've been looking for a place to vent about that.

+1 to all of this. I love 247 and subscribe there, but their ND boards are worthless... very little discussion/very posters, and some incredibly annoying (or uninformed) trolls. There was some clown named jwood or something that I think finally got banned but was completely unbearable.

I've been excited about Chris Brown since the day he gave his verbal to ND... That video from yesterday certainly did nothing to temper that excitement!

I just think that kid is gonna be a monster! I can't wait to see him hit the field in games that count and toast some cornerbacks!

It always seems like NBC's feed is much better compared to CBS/ABC/ESPN for sports. Especially when it comes to blur from lateral panning or showing Flanagan's face up close.

I think she's gorgeous but they should've matched Erin Andrew's FOX offer on the spot.

Yeah, well, ya know ... 10 bucks a month for a marginal internet site (multiplied by ten, possibly), 120 bucks a month for a cable/dish connection used 25% of the time and for 10% of the channels paid for, 80 (or more?) bucks a month for a smart phone with reasonable data allowances, etc., etc. adds up to real money at some point.

Just how much is the "insider" information and "visionary" dead-solid predictions worth when it's pretty much a crap shoot in the long run.

Go for the college fund(s).

The too cheap part... Was a time when value was in the cost discussion...

Agree, the college funds are awesome...the logic to not pay 10 bucks and put it toward college...way cool.

Love the videos, of course, but does anyone else feel, or notice, that they're shorter this time around than last year, or even spring practice this year? Nothing of the coaches miked up, no longer segments, nothing like that.

Its one thing to show plenty of footages the week of the the game but allowing teams to see some our weaknesses( no matter how minute) months before we play them could be a bad idea.

Also, those fall camp videos tease some of us die hards in to over analyzing things that do not matter. Its like giving a first time drug user some very high quality drugs for their first time then selling them average or garbage when they come back wanting more.

Chi, I've noticed this as well...

A lot shorter and more importantly indefinite clips of fall camp.

Maybe strategical?
