The twitter account thing gave spun my optimism into pessimism. Just really strange that he would be so active in following scUM guys leading up to tomorrow.

Could be nothing. Got the big commitment today, hoping for some icing on the cake tomorrow!

Hard to pick anyone other than home state U / U Mich

Still hoping that relationships bring him to ND though

Talked to someone

And it's really nothing that hasn't already been reported but it's nice to hear it again. but ND staff doesn't know a damn thing and he thinks Michigan doesn't as well because that place has more leaks then the White House.

It's literally radio silence and earlier this week he said Michigan

Now he's not sure

This probably means nothing but I'm home sick today so just been thinking way to much

But why announce your going to announce a day after Tyree? Could mean nothing but why move up your announcement date to a day after the biggest ND commit since Jaylon?

If I saw Mike Elston right now cutting his grass and drinking a long island ice tea all would be right in the world.

I was think that too but didn’t Michigan land a 4 star LB today from MD? Idk, I got a gut feeling he’s Irish.

I could give a fuck what they do up there. I'm glad to see they got a 4* I guess?

I'm sure both sides could do this but I've talked myself into it. It seems eerily similar to those recruiting runs we've had in the past where it's setup to come one day after another.

ND explained the situation to him. He wanted to take an OV to UF knowing he'd never end up there but he and his family could "enjoy" the process a little more. They are the innocent bystander in this recruitment, poor Danny. Came back and decided it was time to jump on board and lock this spot up. Maximum impact is to decide one day after Tyree so ND nation can head into the long weekend riding high and talking about it at length. Loy is out of town, Freeman has gone fairly quiet, and everyone else "doesn't know anything". Good guys locked this up. Man that sounds convincing.

Now, not only am I going to have to eat crow for this but do so with UM cheers in the background, gross.

I get that pitch, but don't we basically have two or three Chase Winovich's getting drafted next year?

Okwara (barring injury) will be drafted higher than Winovich, that's true. Who knows about Kareem.

Now you're playing with my emotions.

I was in a place of acceptance this morning. But after Tyree announced I'm starting to get greedy again.

Yeah, Michigan landed 3* Nikhai Hill-Green today.

I would say that makes things more uncertain.

That being said, I think it goes without saying that a commitment from a borderline 5* and the top ranked APB carries a bit more press and attention than a 3* LB.

Wow, I was agreeing with you. I just was mentioning they landed a big recruit today also. Need a mydol? cranberry juice?

I came off like a complete asshole and all I meant was like to myself "Like I could give a fuck what they are doing" It wasn't directed at you at all.

Does michigan have a history of taking commitments on consecutive days? i have no idea. for notre dame, the staff has very obviously had a tendency of manipulating the timing of their commits.

i also like the fact that michigan doesn't seem to know where he's going. i'm absolutely talking myself into this one and i don't even care.

Wouldn’t it be amusing if........... he decided to delay his commitment. After two weeks of hand wringing......

If McGregor commits to Notre Dame, I will look forward to seeing him in a Notre Dame uniform some day. If he doesn't commit to Notre Dame, I will move on to the next commit without any regrets.

One recruit doesn't make or break a football team. It's the totality of recruits that combine to form a team that can compete. Our list of 2020 verbals to date is insane.

I feel great about our 2019 and 2020 DL class. So my only emotion will be feelinf sorry for McGregor if he chooses UM.

He's an elite talent and he could have gone to ND, OSU or Clemson. And he chose a school that stays relevant by having 1 good win against Wisconsin every year, getting paddled by OSU, and playing for a coach that is the laughing stock of overhype.

We're fine without him, were great with him. But Michigan? Damn.

The only issue with this is, if you are to believe all the reports that the staff has no idea where he is going, how can the coordinate the timing?

I only know one thing for certain, when he commits tomorrow, I'll be like "Well of COURSE that's what he chose. It was always going to be school."

I have also talked myself into this one. Looking at Michigan's garbage recruiting class, he has no reason to move up a decision date to join that class of clowns.

Botelho, Mills, McGregor...

BURN THE BOATS!
