Where the blue dinosaur at?
I got you
Where the blue dinosaur at?
This kid is underrated by the services at this point. Huge get right here after a subpar class at WR last year.
Lenzy was recruited by most of the offensive staff at Notre Dame. However, it was special teams coordinator Brian Polian that played the biggest impact on his decision.
“Honestly, coach Polian was the biggest factor,” said Lenzy, when looking at the staff. “He made me feel at home. He said something that meant a lot to me and my dad. He was talking about how Notre Dame isn’t for everyone and that it’s much easier to stay with the local schools and that it’s going to be hard saying no to schools like Oregon and Oregon State. A lot of people stay home because it’s easy, but when I was at Notre Dame, although it’s hard to leave home and be far away, it seemed so easy to fit in there. I had the same goals and aspirations as everyone there. It made the distance so much easier to overcome.”
BREAKING: 4-star WR Braden Lenzy commits to Notre Dame
Coach Polian can recruit the West Coast, in case you hadn't heard.
This kid's speed is no joke. I can't decide what side of the ball he would be better at. I say let him decide and then develop him.
WR. We have young corners who can play but we need another Will Fuller type on offense. Lenzy fits the bill.

Recruited by some programs as a defensive back, Alexander and offensive coordinator Chip Long described to Lenzy during his Junior Day visit their vision for him as a wide receiver. Think Will Fuller.
“Just being a playmaker,” Lenzy told Irish Illustrated after the trip. “They made it clear they want me to do kickoff return and use me as a deep threat, across the field. Just being kind of an athlete, similar to what I’ve been doing already in high school just on a bigger scale with a quarterback that can throw it a lot farther.”

Why not allow him to play both ways? Like the kid from USC. PLay him at Corner and WR.
I understand why Lenzy is being compared to Fuller and why everyone wants him to be used in a similar way. But I'm hoping Lenzy can be more dangerous (if that makes any sense).

Hmmm... Lenzy looks good to me, but Fuller certainly took an unexpected turn. Obviously we can't expect him to be better than Fuller and his TD per game.
And, in my experience, it just generally doesn't work that way. There really aren't more than a handful of guys that can do it all. Golden Tate is the only one we've had in recent memory.
Again, Lenzy looks good. But Adoree Jackson's junior highlights were absurd.
To me, we've gotten a significantly faster Bennett Jackson.

Wooly where's ur gif for this commit?
you cannot compare adore jackson/will fuller combine/collegiate times etc to Branden in high school...but for comparison lets take a look at Adore as a Senior vs Branden as a Soph
Adore as a senior best time in 200meters
21.77
Braden as a SOPH best time in 200m
21.79
400 meters
adore again as a SENIOR
53.48
Braden as a SOPH
48.16
Adore didn't race in the 100m in his senior year however as a junior
100m-10.68(pr) however is other times are 11, 10.89, 11, 10.97
branden
100m-10.86 his other times are 10.93, 11.05, 10.9, 10.94
so it appears that Branden doesn't have the elite initial burst as adore(although Branden is a soph vs a senior) which would make sense due to adore's smaller stature ...but Braden is flat out track fast and will only get better
Adoree Jackson - CA Track and Field Profile
Braden Lenzy - OR Track and Field Profile
I sure hope this isn't the case.
